Moss+ Commodity 2021

I *think* this may actually be my favourite of the Moss trilogy. I just love the juniper, and the fact that it’s so refreshingly green without leaning too dirty or earthy. To me, this scent is literally a breath of fresh air. In the initial spray I get eucalyptus really clearly, which adds a cooling cleanness to the underlying musk and patchouli. After a few minutes there’s lots of oakmoss and petitgrain, and I even get hints of bergamot which I couldn’t really find in either the personal or the expresssive. It’s a fresh, bright, citrusy wonder, and does feel reminiscent of its namesake.

Although neither the personal nor the expressive are particularly feminine (the expressive has the most floral undertone of the three in my opinion), I would say this is the most masculine-leaning of the three. It’s still undeniably sexy on a woman, though, and by no means difficult to pull off. It also has the best projection and longevity of the three.

Moss+ is a beautifully aromatic scent, and perfect for a day when a fresher scent is just the ticket. I’m considering adding a bottle to my collection now that my sample is almost gone.

To me, this fragrance evokes a walk through a temperate forest in the spring the day after a heavy overnight downpour. The day is sunny, but the ground is still soaked from the earlier rain. Your shoes squish into the mossy forest floor with each footstep.

It's earthy and green. I get a slight brightness from the citrus and juniper, but mostly smell green/earthy notes. It's very pleasant and something I think I would enjoy wearing especially in the warmer months.

I did see some comparisons to Le Labo bergamote 22, which is a favorite of mine. To me they are [very] distant cousins. I could see how someone would compare them, but I find them each to be quite distinct.

Definitely fresh and green! Could be mistaken for some sort of toilet cleaner to begin with if you're sensitive to pine-like frags, but give it chance to settle as it becomes quite mellow after an hour-ish.

Dry down -Mainly masculine feeling frag, hints of bergamot, patchouli and musk. Does have vibes of a forest in the rain. Smells nice on me and even better on my BF.

Smells almost identical to El Yunque by Desklab Perfumes. Personally, I think El Yunque has more depth and nuance as a fragrance in comparison. Extremely cologne heavy/masculine. I smell the forest aspects, but I hoped for this to smell slightly more of moss and dirt than it does for me. There’s a mint-y or refreshing opening to this that I do like, but personally I wouldn’t want to smell like this.

Good masculine leaning scent. I like it. VERY woodsy very green scent like a misty rainforest in winter time.

Lasted on my skin about 4 ish hours. Maybe closer to 3 hours! I gave it to my boyfriend but the right kind of woman could definitely pull it off! I think I’ll love it on my boyfriend! Good price!
