I had a sample of this fragrance and had no high expectations.
I was immediately transported back to vacation. The scent starts green, slightly fizzy with a subtle pear note. Then the fragrance becomes totally green, juicy leaves, stems, and all of it completely without sweetness.
Only after a few minutes does the fig join in. This makes the scent slightly creamy. This combination of juicy green and this creamy fig/coconut mix totally puts me in a vacation mood; it relaxes me completely. The base of the fragrance is lightly woody with a very subtle musk note.
I love smelling this fragrance, but unfortunately, my husband doesn’t like it on me at all... As a room fragrance, it would be perfect for me! Unfortunately, it’s too expensive for that...

Anyone who likes fig scents should definitely give this a try...

I haven't written a review in a long time. A few weeks ago, I read in the forum that Winter Palace is supposed to be a beautiful and special tea scent. I LOVE tea scents and didn't know this one. The fragrance wouldn't leave my mind, so I added it to my cart, then decided not to order it. The next day, back in the cart, still not ordered - way too expensive for a blind buy. Besides, I haven't liked almost any blind buy so far...

This went on for a few days, and then I just ordered the fragrance.

It arrived today. Sprayed on my hand with great anticipation - briefly worried that I might not like it. The opposite. I think it's GREAT. Somehow very special, yet still pleasing. At first, I perceive an orange, then immediately the beautiful tea note. Somehow the fragrance gives me both winter and summer vibes at the same time. I've never experienced anything like this before. The scent develops creamy and blends beautifully with my skin.

Once again, a blind buy that I really, really like and that won't immediately end up in the souk...

I have been searching for a fresh, green tea scent that is not citrusy for a long time. Without any expectations, I tested Imagination today. I was immediately smitten. This is the perfect summer fragrance that I have been "looking for" for a very long time.

Fresh, light, beautiful tea note, but somehow also slightly creamy and just pleasant. I find it perfectly unisex, not masculine.
I put it directly into my cart at LV today. Given the price, I will sleep on it one more night and wear it again tomorrow, but I am almost certain that it will be coming home with me....

Even after several hours, I can still perceive the scent well, and it has a very nice development. On my skin, it becomes creamy and finer after a while ...

Let's see if I am still as smitten tomorrow ...

For a long time, I thought I was well-equipped with vanilla scents in my collection and didn't "need" any more fragrances. Somehow, this scent just wouldn't leave my mind. Apparently, I kept talking about Black Tie, so my husband gifted it to me for Christmas.
When I unwrapped the package, I was briefly shocked because I had never smelled BT up to that point and had no idea if I would even like it. So, I first sprayed the included sample. I knew within the first few seconds that I would keep the scent 100% and found it heavenly right away. I then unpacked the bottle and sprayed the fragrance on my arms. I couldn't stop smelling my arm the whole evening and was almost addicted to the scent.
Although the vanilla comes through beautifully, it is never too sweet or overwhelming. I find the scent heavenly, fluffy, warm, creamy; it reminds me of a spa area, of wellness. I don't associate BT with cookies or baked goods at all. The fragrance blends beautifully with my skin and is never too intrusive.
After several days of testing, I can say that I am so glad to have finally found my PERFECT vanilla scent alongside Angelique Noire. I LOVE it!!!
The longevity is good for me. I can perceive the scent on my skin all day long, but without an overwhelming sillage.
A great gift from my husband, without having known the scent beforehand....

Hypnotic Poison is truly a masterpiece. I am also aware that there are probably some people who absolutely do not like this scent. It is a statement. It has a high recognition value.
Back in elementary school, I often visited a friend whose mother always wore Hypnotic Poison. And she wore way too much of it. The whole apartment smelled of it. But even back then, I found the scent beautiful; I felt safe and looked forward to every time I was there in the apartment and could smell that scent again.
And today, after more than 20 years, this scent still impresses me. It is enveloping, pleasantly warm, cozy, and you can strongly smell the vanilla and almond. In today's world, where an incredible number of fragrances are released, I find it simply impressive that this scent has been such a long-lasting hit for 23 years. I also believe that the scent can be worn by women of any age. The important thing is just not to spray too much of it (although I didn't mind that back then... ;-)
On a winter evening, I especially love to smell Hypnotic Poison on my scarf.
