What are you doing to me?
When I first tested it at the perfumery, I found Ganymede to be a simple fresh mandarin scent with a little saffron.
As I drove home, I kept asking myself what smelled so leathery here.
At the time, I wasn't 100% sure that it was him.
The next time I visited the perfumery, I tested it again and it was exactly the same, but this time I realized that it was definitely the "Ganymede (Eau de Parfum) | Marc-Antoine Barrois" that had made such a dramatic transformation.
I was already hooked and had to get myself a bottle.
With every sniff, it became more exciting for me and somehow I still perceive it differently every time I smell it.
(Of course, I bought the bottle in the meantime :D)
Sometimes rather fresh, sometimes rather spicy or leathery and sometimes mineral.
There are many special fragrances, but the "Ganymede (Eau de Parfum) | Marc-Antoine Barrois" does something to me!
I just can't get my nose away from my wrist when I wear it. :D
And lo and behold, it's also an absolute compliment magnet in my environment, although everyone perceives it differently there too.

The performance is also brutal.
It fills entire (large) rooms with just a few sprays and lasts forever.
It is not too dense in the air, but still very noticeable.

Of course, I can't guarantee that everyone will like it, but in my opinion it's definitely worth testing.
It's best not to judge at first sniff. :)

Absolute cheek!
The "bad" rating is really an absolute cheek in my opinion! d
I thought back and forth for a long time about whether to test Torino, as the floral theme often doesn't quite suit my taste and then there was the really poor rating (initially even below 6.5/10, if I remember correctly).
Fortunately, I found a leftover bottle at a good price and bought it on the spur of the moment. :)

My expectations were very low, but when I sprayed it on for the first time, I was really thrilled *-*.
It's not completely unknown DNA and reminds me of e.g. "Aqua Vitae Forte | Maison Francis Kurkdjian", but in my opinion it's a perfect version of this fragrance DNA.
Torino starts with a sweet-fresh blend of bergamot, neroli and spicy rose.
As it progresses, it becomes more floral and slowly the tuberose and jasmine note comes more and more to the fore for me.
It somehow combines something "old-fashioned" with something sporty and modern.
It leans a bit towards the feminine, but is also wearable for men, I think.
The durability and sillage are also really good! :)

I'm really glad that I decided to test it despite the uncertainty.
I also assume that the rating will rise even further in the summer. :)
I'm really addicted to the fragrance and it's also going down well with those around me! :)

What's wrong with Zara? :o
I'm a big fan of Xerjoff and especially of Alexandria II and the other oud stars, but I still think it's amazing what Zara has delivered here.

Of course, Somewoody doesn't quite come close to Alexandria, but it's damn close, especially in terms of sillage
For me, Somewoody is just a little brighter and generally doesn't have the depth of Alex2.
In the opening it still seems a little synthetic/alcoholic, but as it progresses it becomes really nice and woody, floral, sweet with a very slight medicinal note.
The closer you get to the drydown, the softer and creamier it becomes.
Lasting power and sillage are of course not as strong as the original, but totally fine for the price.

I'm not a fan of dupes, (especially those that use exactly the same oils for 1 hundredth of the price, like Xerjoff, Roja, PdM, etc.). d :D :D ), or rather go for the original, but the fragrance is really recommendable, especially for people who don't want to spend too much money on fragrances.
The price/performance is absolutely bomb!!!
The bottle is also more than okay for the price.

Definitely worth a test :)

Still one of the best. :)
Naxos was my introduction to the niche world.
After testing hundreds of fragrances, it is, as the title suggests, still one of the best.

In my opinion, it does everything right.
It has recognition value and is still very pleasing.
The opening is slightly citrusy and the lavender comes through well, but the citrus disappears after a while.
In between, it becomes relatively sweet due to the honey, but is still pleasant.
It becomes a perfect interplay of honey and tobacco.
The closer you get to the drydown, the more the tobacco comes through and the sweetness disappears somewhat.
It has a wonderful fragrance progression and becomes more and more pleasant.

If you are crazy about perfume, you can hardly avoid trying out very unusual fragrances that often offend other people.
It's completely different with Naxos, because it has something of its own, is complex and still brings lots of compliments :)

The longevity and sillage are extremely good (I have a batch from 2021).
Of course, the price/performance ratio is debatable, but I think it's okay.
It's definitely worth a test. :)

Projection monster!!!
Bois Impérial is a molecular fragrance with special properties.
Many of you will certainly be familiar with the classic "Molecule 01".
In terms of their fragrance properties, the two can be compared in the most distant sense.
However, Bois Impérial has something natural in addition to its synthetics.
In the opening, it is still relatively peppery/citrusy and as it progresses, something green, spicy and slightly floral comes through (I think this comes from the vetiver, basil and acigalwood) and at the same time the typical woody molecular character always resonates.

I found the sillage to be average at first, but since a few people around me own it, I realize how brutal it is.
It fills large rooms and still feels "airy".
The durability is also great.

I often find the typical Mülekül fragrances a bit boring, but the Bois Impérial is convincing in all areas, it has something of its own, the performance is awesome and the price/performance ratio is also good.
Really a super fragrance
