Marieposa

Mint breeze
Weaving spice carpets
From sun sand
A resin-glowing morning
As soft as fennel ears

Narciso!
Amelia sighed
And pressed her rosy cheek
And the soft osmanthus musk curves
Against the opaque edges
Of its black casing

I didn't want to
Kiss the muscatel frog
So I threw it against the wall
Now my sin floats
Like soap bubbles
Above the golden sphere

Dryad dance under fairy trees
Like morning veils
On gnarled forest spirit paws
My heart bursts
Like silver needles

Assassin-Jasmine
In a plunge through time and space
Flower sighs on coconut cream
And ambered shoulder pads
Colorful eyeshadow
Cat claws
