Earthiness and Inner Strength: The New Men's Fragrance “Purpose 50” by Amouage

With "Purpose 50", Amouage is adding an intensely woody and spicy fragrance to its "The Exceptional Extraits" range, which reinterprets the original in a higher concentration.

The original Purpose Eau de Parfum was an unwavering symbol of strength and assertiveness. It harnessed the timeless power of incense to convey a sense of living in peace, finding one's roots and being complete. Purpose 50 is a deeply moving connection to the earth itself - with its ancient soul, endless patience and timeless wisdom.

Amouage

Created once again by master perfumer Quentin Bisch, "Purpose 50" is a powerful reinterpretation of the popular Eau de Parfum "Purpose" from 2023. With a fragrance oil concentration of 50 percent, the new version focuses more strongly on the base and intensifies the woody-spicy nuances. In addition to the familiar notes of incense, papyrus and vetiver, a striking sandalwood accord brings a creamy, woody earthiness to the composition, complemented by delicate, warm vanilla tones.

It opens with the fresh citrus notes of bergamot, supported by spicy accents of pink pepper, allspice and incense. Woody and floral elements meet in the heart note: papyrus and rose combine to create an exotic-sweet composition, supported by warm notes of sandalwood and vetiver. Finally, the fragrance journey culminates in a spicy-woody accord of Akigalawood®, Mystikal®, vanilla and saffron, rounded off by the velvety depth of suede. 

"Purpose 50" is part of the "The Exceptional Extraits" collection from Amouage, which stands for particularly high concentrations of fragrance oils - above and beyond the usual 20 to 30 percent of conventional Extraits. Other well-known fragrances in the series are "Jubilation 40", "Epic 56 Woman" and "Guidance 46".

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
