Armani's "Eau Pour Homme" with better endurance?
This fragrance could theoretically be called something else, for example, "Eredità della Colonia" (Colonia heritage) or "Colonia - Nuova Generazione" (Colonia - new generation). But the fragrance has rather less to do with a vision of the future. I suspect that the house wants to create a 2.0 version to the classic that many male as well as female stars wore in the early 20th century. Olfactorically, it's probably not enough to give the fragrance a completely new name. In the Blu Mediterraneo series, it also does not quite fit in and would probably go down there, because in the meantime all the colors for the different fonts on the bottle have been assigned. But back to the fragrance! The slightly feminine tendency that many associate with the Colonia classic, may have been the reason to market here a pure gentleman fragrance, although by now the term "unisex" must have arrived at each / marketing staff. In any case, the base of the new fragrance is the main difference from the classic. Here, the rose is exchanged for a rich load of woods, so that for the majority of noses a spicy, masculine scent with a fresh citrus kick-off can be perceived. There's no need to philosophize much about the perfect, citrusy kick-off with ADP. They've got that down and it's also in their tradition. Unlike many houses, they have understood (and probably experienced live with their dear grandparents in the country) what a real lemon smells like - a lemon that doesn't make it to our supermarket shelves, but doesn't make it to the supermarket recall because of its rough, blotchy peel as well as its small appearance. The scent is strongly reminiscent of the Armani classic "Eau Pour Homme", which has lasted just as long as the scent of many a hand soap from the drugstore since it was reformulated. For a little more budget, you get a real alternative here with quality and significantly longer endurance. It's also clear that you can't expect marathon durability with such colognes, especially since (hopefully) no extreme synthetics are used here, which would otherwise artificially dope the scent. Curious I am also on the assessment of one of the top Parfumo reviewers, who lives in a love-hate relationship with the Armani classic due to the poor endurance ;)

Occasion
The fragrance has the potential as an all-rounder and makes a good figure both on festive occasions and in the higher floors of a company.

Season
All-rounder candidate, but if you have to put him in a drawer, then it would probably rather the sunny transitional season as well as summer.

Stereotype wearer
Rather male, 40+, grounded, stylish, knows no T-shirts, but only shirts, now and then possibly polo shirts or short-sleeved shirts, dares no experiments, lives in his successful routine, on his fragrance shelf are very few perfumes, flacons in the form of fists, gold bars, cups or dumbbells, he does not know.

Conclusion
A great Colonia fragrance, classically interpreted with a great, spicy wood base.

Gentle Dupe to Santal 33
This perfume is a dream!
For me it's really a great alternative to Santal 33, the fragrance definitely has the Santal 33 DNA, but still stands out for its gentleness.

To the fragrance:

For me, the woods together with the amber have something of papyrus, therefore perhaps the similarity to Santal 33.
The sandalwood is ultra creamy. Vetiver makes the woody fragrance a little greener. I also notice the spices, they make the fragrance almost delicious, but are not too strong. Everything stays in balance.
The nice thing is that the famous dill note of Santal 33 is not present here. So this could be something for many people for whom Santal 33 was too much.

Shelf life/silage:

The durability is unfortunately the shortcoming. It only lasts for 2h.

The Sillage is very very weak and with such a great scent this is really unfortunate.

Conclusion:

The smell is a dream! A gentle dupe to Santal 33, without a dill note, but unfortunately also with poor durability/silage. Maybe a nice bed scent for autumn/winter?

Cosy relaxing scent to fall asleep
This fragrance definitely belongs to the super classics. So far I had only heard positive things about it. For me this is an absolutely timeless fragrance, totally classy. Although I don't wear it during the day, because it is too close and singular for me. But it is perfect after a shower in the evening before going to bed. Lovely! Br />

To the fragrance:
The prelude is really a lavender grenade! The first 3 minutes are dominated by finest lavender components. Little by little a very warm vanilla creeps in. Musk probably gives the fragrance the soft/cuddly note. I only perceive amber sporadically.

Shelf life/silage:
The durability is unfortunately very, very weak. After 30 minutes, only the interplay of vanilla and musk with a touch of lavender can be perceived within a radius of 0.5 metres and is therefore very close to the skin. What is perceptible is still very pleasant, but unfortunately too weak. Body heat from physical activity or from increased outside temperature can easily re-ignite this scent, but by no means keep it for a longer period of time.

Conclusion:
The perfect fragrance for sleeping. Lavender and cuddly vanilla envelop you and let you fall asleep peacefully as in a luxury spa hotel

No alternative to Baccarat Rouge 540
I had to test several times to see if I was related to Baccarat Rouge 540.
But even then, I don't like him that much

To the fragrance:
I take the resemblance to BR 540 was slight, but Her Intense for me is more of a sweet, warm blackberry scent, which is close to BR 540.
He gives me a headache

Shelf life/silage:

The scent holds okay. My place, about 3-4h

The sillage is rather weak. I hardly notice him

Conclusion:

No alternative to Baccarat Rouge 540! For me, maybe distant relations, but the sweet fruity notes make the fragrance cheap and cause headaches.

Alternative to Baccarat Rouge 540
I'm shocked! For me an incredibly good Dupe to Baccarat Rouge 540.

Definitely not so complex, sweeter and not so unisex anymore.
But for a celebrity perfume it smells super special. Wouldn't it look so horrible...

To the fragrance:

I smell, like BR 540, marshmallows around the campfire. Only here the fire is still in its early stages
I smell fresh caramel with great roasting aromas. But somehow the perfumer managed to make it not disgustingly sweet, but gentle.
It is definitely sweeter than BR 540, but maybe even more portable because of it.
It's not getting to be too much for me, though.

Shelf life/silage:

The fragrance really does last. 6h loose.

The Sillage is quite good, but not to compare with the Beast BR 540.

Conclusion:

A cheaper, sweeter alternative to BR 540, which lasts long and is quite perceptible. For me, however, no longer unisex like BR 540.

P.S.: please take off this disgusting plastic cloud immediately when you unpack the perfume. It smells so much like plastic that you almost lose the desire to smell it.
