As the wormer days are comming (even that in Germay will will have to wait a bit for it) I am tending to use more and more fresh scents. When you are looking at the house of Parfums de Marly as a men you basically have 3 options: Sedlay, Greenley and Perciva. For me personaly Percival was not an option as I have the foconero from TIziana Terenzi. When you are wondering to buy Sedlay or Greenly there is not a wrong option, both are very likeble, freshe and both have not a bad performance, considering they are still a freshies.
Sedley give me the feeling of a luxury showergel. It gets me a ton of compliments. It is very easy to understand. It gives me a nice kick of positive enrgy on the days when I am feeling down. It reminds me of something, but than again I can not tell that I know some fraggrance that smells exactly the same. There is allways a discussion if it is OK to pay a lot for a fresh fragrance, but in my opinion it deffinitely is. Lets face it normal guys as me working in the office and having some special occasions one or maximum two times per week. With Sedley everybody will understand you smell classy, expencive and you will not offend anyone with some funky, artistic and complex fragrance.
To summerize it: Sedlay is a nice fresh, citrus, green fragrance with the rigth amout of woody and musky accords. The insant feeling of comming out of the shower, or leavig your favourite barber shop with the smile on your face. Absolutely buy recomendation, but thy to get at least 20% off (than it is where it needs to be). Very suitable for someone who is just getting in the nishe world and want to step his 'blue' fragrance up.

Naxos, Naxos, Naxos,
It all started with a 3 ml sample. I had only smelled it before, thought it was okay, and figured I could use the sample to understand it better. I took this sample with me to a dance festival (Salsa). I wore it to the party and at least 5 women complimented me, and not just the usual 'you smell good!' but 'Wow, you smell so good, what is that??'. One woman even asked for the name and wrote it down so she wouldn't forget. And it’s actually understandable. Of course, I bought a full bottle afterward. The scent is very refined and cleverly crafted. It combines a sweetness that is just right-not too much and not too little-with masculine notes like tobacco + barbershop lavender note. It is very seductive without shouting 'I'm here!' Absolutely a master class in simplicity and efficiency. The performance and sillage could be a bit better on my skin, but it still lasts around 6-7 hours with 1-1.5m sillage for the first 2 hours. It will forever remain in my collection.
A small note: I have never tested the versions before the reformulation, so I can't comment on that. However, I am satisfied enough with the latest versions, and my personal opinion is that the old bottles have simply matured and thus appear darker and stronger.

I was looking for a fragrance with prominant white tea note, so I searched for the fragrances with this note. The Ferarri Light Essence Acqua was inexpencive solution to my demands. I personaly love it and it makes for me everithing I wanted. Of cource it could be more refined and longer lasting, but if it will be slithly modified and packed in maybe Gritti packaging the price tag will be 5 times more. Very nice dumb reach on the very hot days

This scent is my personal favorite of 2018; I received it as a sample and bought it right after. It just fits every occasion, as it has a bit of everything: freshness, sweetness, woodiness. I also find it relatively original for what it is. Essentially, it's yet another 'blue' fragrance. In this category, I believe Y EDP by YSL is the king. If Dior Sauvage is a bit boring (despite many compliments) and Blue de Chanel feels a bit too sterile and safe for me, Y EdP brings that certain extra. It simply works for everything, from T-shirt and shorts to pants with a shirt. I wouldn't wear it with a suit, as it lacks a bit of elegance and notes like Iris, which are more associated with elegance (e.g., Accento by Xerjoff). Y EdP always gives the feeling of cleanliness after a shower (yet it doesn't smell like shower gel). The longevity and projection are also very good for a fresh scent. It is one of the few that I would buy again after it's empty.

Very interesting combination of salty sea / aquatic nots with the sweetnes of honey. Very stron similarity, especialy in the dry down, with ambre nuit, but without the rose and a lot stronger performence. Very likeble, could be a blind buy. Dont overspray in the high temerature / humidity seasons.
Overall very classy fragrance. Could be used in the luxery sommer vacation or hot weather wedding or this king of dressed up events.
