After a serious accident, which had a minor outcome, I wanted to give myself a present (you can always find a reason if you look for one...).

I started testing "Casamorati - Dama Bianca (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" for spring at my trusted perfumery. I was then shown several other fragrances. You know how the more you smell, the less you like? You're looking for a needle in a haystack. Something you've never smelled before but can still identify with. The saleswoman showed me "La Danza delle Libellule (Eau de Parfum) | Nobile 1942" as her own recommendation. I would say that I am not a vanilla person. But this delicious carefree cool sweetness appealed to me straight away. It was a split second before I knew it was coming. That "fluffiness" I was hoping for from "Casamorati - Dama Bianca (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" is what I found in "La Danza delle Libellule (Eau de Parfum) | Nobile 1942".

You can smell a sweet baked apple. The vanilla is not heavy, but floats coolly in the air. It is not pompous or similar or reminiscent of scented candles. A light gourmand, which in my opinion does not smell edible like a "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff", but sweet and fresh. Apple and vanilla flatter each other very nicely. To me, it smells like a sunny spring day, the flowers are already blooming in the gardens and there is a fresh breeze. For me, it is a beautiful everyday fragrance, but I can also imagine it for a quiet evening. It gives me a sense of calm and gentleness.

For about 125€ you get 75ml, I don't think you need to say much about it.

After I was so impressed by "Delina Exclusif | Parfums de Marly", I also wanted to try "Valaya | Parfums de Marly". At the beginning, an unpleasant synthetic citrus dominates, reminding me of detergents. As soon as the fragrance settles, the DNA of PDM comes through. Nevertheless, a clean fragrance continues to dominate, with a hint of synthetic citrus. It becomes slightly sweeter. I would have to guess which fragrance note is responsible for this.

Longevity and silage:
1. Test: layered with "Delina Exclusif | Parfums de Marly" and "Valaya | Parfums de Marly" trumped it. I had 3 sprays of "Valaya | Parfums de Marly" on it and so 7 sprays of "Delina Exclusif | Parfums de Marly" and was confused as to why I kept getting the "Valaya | Parfums de Marly" in my nose.

2. Test: one spray on the back of my hand and my friends at the table said that everything smelled like me....

So the "Valaya | Parfums de Marly" is really a beast for a clean fragrance. It's not a blind buy, as this synthetic citrus is also strongly reminiscent of freshly cleaned public washrooms. It's not for everyone, but perhaps that's what gives it its character. I'm still undecided as to whether I really need such a fragrance. I think it might be nice to have for days when you just want to smell clean. But I wonder if there's a cheaper way to do it.

As a teenager, I always made myself a "latte". About 50ml of coffee, the rest milk and at least three cubes of sugar. If you added a teaspoon of rum, you would have Mancera Amore Caffé in your cup.

What remains in the fragrance is a sugared, creamy vanilla. Rum and coffee quickly fade away. The name Amore Caffé does not fit in my opinion. Too bad, I had hoped for more coffee.

Fragrance progression:
Rubber, suede, saffron with a hint of vanilla, leather continues to come through, some amber, softened by musk. Also a little sweet, perhaps the caramel? Now the tonka bean. No more gum notes.

Masculine tendency, but also wearable as a woman. You need a little patience, after less than 10 minutes it becomes a mildly sweet tonka bean fragrance with some leather and saffron.

I can smell salty caramel, vanilla, heliotrope and pistachio throughout. This fragrance has been with me all summer. Underneath the BumBum Cream and you smell like a jar of salted caramel with pistachio pieces as a topping. I think it smells a bit saltier and more grown-up than the body spray.

Overall a wonderful sweet fragrance. Unfortunately hard to find.
