King of Iris Scents?
A king-class fragrance for anyone who wants to smell clean and exclusive. Iris lovers will surely appreciate the high-quality iris note.
Fragrance direction: Fresh and floral.
The start? Exactly that. It feels clean and pure - like a new and high-quality piece of clothing that has been washed for the first time: flawlessly clean with a fresh laundry vibe.
Initially fresh and bright with bergamot and grapefruit, which give us a light citrus start with a hint of sweetness. Alongside is a bright, floral contribution from the orange blossom and of course the star of the show: iris. This accompanies us from beginning to end.
As it develops, the floral notes become denser and the iris becomes even more dominant. It feels so voluminous, so smooth, so fine, so creamy/powdery, so clean.
I know what I’m about to write will sound strange to many, but I sense an orange here - even if not as strong as in Orange Flamingo.
In the drydown, it becomes softer - but we generally remain fresh and floral, even as the freshness recedes into the background, because everything mentioned before sinks into the drydown in musk. There is also a very delicate wood note.
I have rarely smelled something this clean and exclusive. This is one of the most intense iris fragrances for me and the ultimate clean man scent.

It's got it all!
Finally, an exciting and simultaneously extraordinary designer release that is still practical for everyday wear.
We start boldly with a dark freshness - spicy, mineral. Licorice and a slightly bitter coffee note bring together the warming darkness and depth. The bergamot adds a slightly sour, citrusy top note - and yes, many will put this perfume down right at the opening or, like me, say: yes, awesome!
The original DNA lies hidden at the core of the perfume while a gentle sweetness is perceptible on the surface, rounding everything off softly and balancing the overall composition.
In the drydown, it becomes softer - almost mineral and filled with woods. To me, it then smells like a gray stone.
Anyone who is a fan of the fragrance line should definitely check it out. Here you get a flanker that strays far enough from the original DNA so that it doesn't feel redundant. So, check it out quickly before they discontinue it, because it surely won't be a bestseller. But it doesn't matter, because here you have an extraordinary, wearable, gentle scent with a wow effect or rather an "OH, NO" effect.

The Expected One
Chanel brings us a new Bleu de Chanel flanker and it is just as I expected: more masculine, mature, deeper, and more interesting than before, and it is once again a good compliment magnet. Oh yes, of course, it's also more expensive than all previous flankers. After all, designers nowadays want to appear niche and niches want to appear designer.
Here we get an amber, woody scent with that typical Bleu de Chanel DNA. This flanker is even more elegant, stylish, mature, and deeper than the perfume concentration.
The first moments are citrusy, fresh-spicy, and slightly sweet - with a hint of mint. The typical original DNA is immediately recognizable. But soon, the amber wood blossoms. This brings depth, but also maturity to the perfume. The sweetness feels grown-up and slightly sparkling. I detect a smoky facet (frankincense).
The leather feels smooth, clean, and luxuriously embedded in the scent structure - not particularly strong, rather softly perceptible.
In the drydown, the amber woods continue to thrive and the sandalwood makes the scent beautifully soft. It feels slightly balsamic/resinous and every second you know you are wearing a Bleu de Chanel.
Bleu de Chanel fans will likely be very happy. At least until they see the current price of €177 for 60ml. My price tip: €120 for 60ml.
A great scent, even if it does exactly what I thought: no scent revolution, but a nice evolution of the line.
Perfect all-rounder for cold days with decent longevity.
PS: It almost seems as if this flanker has a hint of the oriental fragrance world in it (smoky, woody, leathery, balsamic, resinous).

Italian Vacation in a Bottle
That was the worst summer I have ever experienced! So much the better to know a fragrance that feels like a day under the sun of Italy. May I introduce?! Buongiorno.
A fresh, lively citrus scent with mint.
It starts bright, sharp, and radiant with lemon. Along with this juicy and slightly herbaceous-green mint. It is sparklingly aromatic and so beautifully summery and refreshing. I also get a fruity orange here - even if it is not officially listed. This fragrance smells natural, soft, sunny, and summery.
Lavender also comes into play over time - making it soft or somewhat floral, and the aromatic green aspect blooms very nicely as well.
In the drydown, I get a sweet amber warmth with musk, which feels very clean. Just like the small amount of woody facet.
The longevity is in the moderate middle ground - not beast mode, but also not very weak.
Perfect for summer - whether outside in the summer or just for the feeling indoors. Spray on the fragrance, switch to vacation mode. You have it in your hands or rather in the bottle.

Finally a good Elixir!
I can't hear it anymore: Elixir here, Elixir there. Now here comes the next Elixir fragrance. But luckily, I gave this one a chance and it absolutely made the most of it.
Here we have a sweet leather scent - with top quality. It starts bright and fresh with a mandarin (slightly sour, herbal, and fruity). Following that, the actual character of the perfume builds up: leather.
Leather is dominant, but so pleasantly and softly blended that even I, as a non-leather fan, am thrilled by it. The leather is enveloped in warm, soft, aromatic sweetness. Additionally, it is lightly soaked in smoky liqueur.
Finally, an Elixir that deserves its name. I find the longevity to be really good. If you're looking for a sweet leather scent that is supposed to be sexy and elegant: Please check this one out.
