Not What I Was Expecting
For a perfume named "Latte di Cherry," it has a disappointing lack of both creaminess and cherry. Upon first spray, this perfume opens with a super loud, almost cough syrup cherry. The jasmine note quickly follows and becomes the dominant scent for the rest of time, with only hints of creaminess from the almond and vanilla. As it dries down, the perfume becomes something reminiscent of Hypnotic Poison. Something about the combination of jasmine, vanilla, almond, and sandalwood really evokes the rootbeer-like quality of Hypnotic Poison, but it isn't unpleasant.

Ultimately, this perfume is not what I wanted it to be. I was hoping that the red berries and cherry would be front and center, and that the vanilla and sandalwood would provide the creamy latte element mentioned in its name. Instead, it's primarily a jasmine perfume. That's not a bad thing, but it certainly was not what I was expecting out of Latte di Cherry. If I had wanted a jasmine forward perfume, there are other options I would have reached for first.

Cafe Experience
If you are looking for a gourmand coffee perfume, look elsewhere. Intense Cafe, while listing coffee as one of the main notes, is not a coffee-forward scent. Instead, it evokes the experience of being in a bustling cafe: you are sitting in a booth near the back of your favorite coffee shop, sipping a vanilla latte while enjoying the freshly cut roses that rest in a vase at the center of your table. Maybe you are people-watching or catching up on your reading, or perhaps choosing to take a work from home day somewhere other than your living room. Either way, you are in no hurry to leave - and neither is this perfume. Intense Cafe stays on your skin throughout the entire day, transporting you to a coffee shop hours after you apply it.

The Perfect Snow Fragrance
I feel like I've spent forever searching for a perfume that perfectly captures the picture in my mind of what winter is: bone-deep cold, teeth-chattering winds, and snowdrifts mixed with earth. After being repeatedly disappointed by other fragrances, I finally came across Snowy Owl. This is what I've been wanting!

Snowy Owl, much like other Zoologist perfumes, is an experience rather than just a perfume. It is a chilly, wet scent that I associate with snow - not the freshly fallen snow pictured in Hallmark Christmas cards, but instead a snow that has overstayed its welcome and has mingled with dirt after resting in drifts or on the side of the road. There is also a hint of something green underneath, as though grass were attempting to poke its way through after a blizzard. I was a bit worried after seeing coconut listed in one of the notes, since I'm not a huge fan, but fortunately this was not a note that I picked up while I was wearing it.

While a lot of people may disagree with me, I think Snowy Owl is a perfectly wearable fragrance. It's incredibly interesting without being offensive - at least as far as I've found. It has above-average longevity, although there is a chance you might need to reapply it depending on how long you want it to last. I can get between six and eight hours on a good day.

Ethereal and complicated
This perfume stands out in a sea of powdery florals. It is impossible to mistake for any other perfume. Dama Bianca is a creamy citrus scent that is perfectly balanced with purple and white floral notes, making it my go-to for practically every occasion. This is THE perfume if you want to smell like an angel.

While it is incredibly expensive, the cost is justified as the high-quality ingredients and longevity are second to none. Unlike many less expensive perfumes, you will not need to reapply throughout the day to enjoy what Dama Bianca has to offer. It is my perfect investment perfume.

Uncomplicated doesn't mean bad
Vanilla Woods is an easy to wear fruity vanilla scent. Unlike what the name may suggest, it does not have super prominent wood notes. Instead, the perfume creates multiple levels of sweet using pear, vanilla, and caramel that even non-gourmand lovers like me will enjoy.

Vanilla Woods is the perfect perfume for when you don't know what else to wear. It works for nearly every occasion and will hold up throughout the day. While this isn't a scent that most people would rate as one of their favorites, you would be hard pressed to find someone who actively dislikes it - the perfect thing to wear as a day-to-day fragrance.
