Freshly washed laundry in spring

The apartment is cleaned and freshly washed clothes are ready to dry. But the bed linen is already dry and the bed can be covered fresh. This is exactly what this scent conveys.

Neither love nor hate

Lazy Sunday Morning - the description, the photo on the outer packaging and of course the name alone made me curious.

I have a certain "quirk" : love the very first night in fresh bedding so so much. The fresh scent, the clean feeling.... Just indescribably beautiful. If one is woken up in addition still on a Sunday morning by the first sunbeams which shine by the window and can simply still lie a while.... A dream.
So the performance.

Then I read through some reviews here, after I had already ordered the perfume. Many write that they perceive something old musty at the fragrance.

"Ok, wait and see." thought I. The bottle arrived and I sprayed it for the first time. Disillusionment. I also perceived this musty note. The very first impression had neither something fresh nor clean about it. Unfortunately.

It is my first fragrance of the Replica series and I wanted so much to like it.
So I gave it a chance and wore the fragrance for a few days in a row. Luckily, on my skin, this musty fades away after a few minutes.
Sillage and durability are mediocre.
You can wear Lazy Sunday Morning actually always. Except perhaps to go out, if it should be something fancier. I find the fragrance also not tied to a particular season.

One should give him some time.

In conclusion, I would say that I neither love nor hate the fragrance. I will wear it, but am glad that I took it only in 30ml

I could cry

She probably didn't know it. Or apparently deliberately overlooked the rose. That's what she's got now, the girl.
No white linen. No clean scent. No feeling safe and light. My wrist simply smells of rose. And I can't deal with that at all. It's right up there with ambroxan and coconut.
I'm determined to be more sensible next time. At least for now.

Shake up a memory. They can do that at Maison Martin Margiela! I smelled it and fell in love. At first smell, this fragrance may smell like any X number of Dove powder shower gels. But there is more!

Much more. There are memories in a bottle. Memories that perhaps everyone shares. The first great love in late summer. Swinging together on the veranda in a large Hollywood swing. With cushions and blankets made of white linen. A truly beautiful scent.

As a man, I can wear it with a lot of self-confidence, but my everyday working life would suffer as a result. I would constantly have to close my eyes to indulge in this fragrance, which unfortunately does not project too strongly. Distraction pre-programmed. I think it will be something for the girlfriend. Then I'll be even more attached to her! Unfortunately, the drawback here is the longevity. It left my skin after 6-7 hours..

Washing laundry on Sunday morning

This is probably what Maison Margiela had in mind. The fragrance is a fresh, clean cotton scent that I would also expect to find on freshly ironed bed linen. Lily of the valley, a fresh green pear and light rose merge to create a wonderfully fluffy fragrance.

Unfortunately, I can imagine it more as a room fragrance. For an apartment that has just enjoyed a spring clean, this would probably be the right fragrance.

In my opinion, it doesn't come across particularly well on the skin. Unfortunately, I can hardly smell any of the base. For me, the fragrance has a fresh, slightly citrusy opening in the first few seconds, then turns into a clean-laundry scent and disappears. The fragrance doesn't last 2 hours on me. Nothing warm remains, no base. As a result, the fragrance gives me the impression that it doesn't match the skin, that it can't really merge with it. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful fragrance, but it certainly comes into its own more on underwear.
