Latte di Cherry New Notes 2023

Ah, cherry. I'm a proud Lost Cherry owner and really not interested in the 1000th dupe, but this note still draws me in. Luckily, Latte di Cherry is a fairly unique take on the beloved red fruit.

It's clearly a fruity scent with cherry playing the leading role. But it's also milky (like the name suggests), somewhat woodsy and spicy, and most of all artfully plasticy. Especially the opening can be offputting if you dislike artificial smelling scents. I think they can be fun when done right, so I don't mind! I think it's mainly the almond note that has a poisonous, rubbery vibe here, but I could be wrong. I also smell rose, loud and clear, and spices, especially a leathery saffron.
Alltogether it's an interesting, cool blend of nostalgic, fun cherry and more mature spiced notes.
In the drydown it gets more woodsy and I sense a passing resemblance to Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry, but more intense, with more oomph and definition.

Unfortunately this scent has one flaw to me: Sometimes I get a whiff of a woodsy smell that borders on wet cardboard. I think that's on my nose - if you never had this problem before and don't know what I'm even talking about, you likely won't get it here either. I personally can't truly love this fragrance because of this note, but I do like it and recommend it to anyone who likes cherry and isn't afraid of synthetic scents.

I was curious to try this as a cherry lover, but this is a no for me.

Latte di Cherry is in the realm of Maraschino. It has the same harsh note that one has. They are both very similar. The dry down is a bit better. I get some red berry’s, but this is not something I could wear personally. This isn’t a gourmand, but artificial and screechy to my nose.

If you’re looking for a good cherry scent that doesn’t have almond in the notes, I’d highly recommend Cherry on Top which smells way better than this. It smells like candied cherries and cherry syrup.

Ein sehr schöner cremiger und fruchtiger Duft. Sehr schön ausbalanciert und kein Lost Cherry dupe sondern eine bessere alternative die deutlich Cremiger und einzigartiger ist. Eine gute Haltbarkeit und eine schöne Sillage. Mein absoluter Lieblings Kirschduft mit einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Sprühkopf.

For a perfume named "Latte di Cherry," it has a disappointing lack of both creaminess and cherry. Upon first spray, this perfume opens with a super loud, almost cough syrup cherry. The jasmine note quickly follows and becomes the dominant scent for the rest of time, with only hints of creaminess from the almond and vanilla. As it dries down, the perfume becomes something reminiscent of Hypnotic Poison. Something about the combination of jasmine, vanilla, almond, and sandalwood really evokes the rootbeer-like quality of Hypnotic Poison, but it isn't unpleasant.

Ultimately, this perfume is not what I wanted it to be. I was hoping that the red berries and cherry would be front and center, and that the vanilla and sandalwood would provide the creamy latte element mentioned in its name. Instead, it's primarily a jasmine perfume. That's not a bad thing, but it certainly was not what I was expecting out of Latte di Cherry. If I had wanted a jasmine forward perfume, there are other options I would have reached for first.

I tried this on a vacation and it was absolutely stung in my head.

There is something about this fragrance that is so addicting, creamy, cherry and sexy.

This is absolutely a banger. As a man, this is completely, and if anything else, this might be more masculine-leaning, because the cherry isn't that "glossy", "lipstick", or "screechy" type.

This is creamy, sexy and fruity (cherry mainly, with some florals and rose). Spices come in later, adding more aromatic and oriental to it.

Quite good. Scent, project and longevity outstanding. 8.8/10.
