Ambre Narguilé

Oajan

Angels' Share Eau de Parfum

Khamrah

Having finally tried all four of them, my appreciation of Ellena's artistry has only grown. Ambre Narguilé easily wins against the other three in my opinion - more restrained, much better balanced, less overpoweringly sweet.

Oajan is a competent copy, but a copy nonetheless. It's what Marly do, so no surprises there. Slightly more floral than the original which is a cute twist.

To be fair, I dont like Kilian's house style so I probably was never going to put that one up top. They always do something in the dry down that gives me a headache.

Khamrah is one of the nicer Lattafas I've tried but it's *achingly* sweet. It may fare better in winter, at a half spray, under a thick sweater... but knowing Ambre Narguilé is definitely going to put you off this one.

Are there more apple pie ambers to consider?

It's not listed on Parfumo, but 'Kismet Magic' by Maison Alhambra gives me all the apple pie vibes. I've not tried the first two, but considerably more apple-y than Angels' Share or Khamrah, without feeling too fruity along with the booziness.

@MorganleFay a couple more for your consideration:
Ambre d'Alexandrie
Boss Alive Eau de Parfum

And a list of more literal apple pies/desserts: Battle of the Autumn Apples

@Ezroni just recommended Jany in the shout-outs as a good apple pie scent, thought I'd mention it here too @MorganleFay so you don't miss it!

My favourite is also Ambre Narguille but I enjoy Dolcelisir and Fauve de Nagada as fair price alternatives.

You need to sample Nobile 1942’s La Danza Delle Libellule. It is exactly what you describe. It’s my current favorite. Exquisite!
