Between stimulus and sensory overload
For me as a woman, Vetiver Glacier is definitely a man's fragrance and it is a fragrance that puts me as a woman in a real quandary. On the one hand, I find it very pungent and almost aggressive with its sharp-edged freshness - so present that it tends to keep me at a distance at first. On the other hand, this freshness is so special that it gives me pause. It is different. It is a statement. Not a typical everyday fragrance, not a pleasing mainstream scent, but a composition with edge and character. This sharp freshness remains present for a long time and that is exactly what fascinates and repels me in equal measure. I think this fragrance only works if it is worn by the right person, because it requires a certain charisma, perhaps even rough edges, otherwise it will come across as too loud too quickly. For me personally, it's a kind of olfactory tension: I stop, notice it, am impressed and at the same time I wouldn't like to have it in my nose in the long term. A fragrance that is polarized and definitely with a character ...for me as a woman, however, it is too demanding. ...
