Enchanting, lovely powdery cleanliness
Remembered I smelled this in the past and regretting that I didn't buy it then (still regret that because I think it was a bit cheaper then), it was a long time ago though, so I sampled first to see if I would still love it and, oh my, I do!!! Bought a full bottle immediately.
And really: I think I'm ready now, this completes my collection, in fact this could well be my signature.
I find this scent beyond gorgeous!! It actually is what I love in Chanel 19 but with something kind and feminine added that I sometimes miss in Chanel 19 (guess I should have bought the 'poudre' version of Chanel 19 maybe, but I don't need to bother now, having both Chanel 19 and Infusion d'Iris).
Love the sillage of this, I get these beautyful, enchanting wafts with every movement.
It is so clean in such a beautyful, angelic, versatile way!
Opening is a little citrussy, but in a soft feminine way, not sharp. Then that lovely Iris come's through, not the paper-kind of Iris and not the too sweet/powdery Iris, but a fresh Iris, perfectly balanced between those two.
Oh, such a lovely powder this is, a cool, not stuffy powder.
Uplifiting but also calming. Soft and gentle but not aloof.
Sillage I find much better than rated and I can smell it many hours after spraying.
Perfection! So happy with this scent!
Edit: Really LOVE this, woke up to the beautyful smell this morning, it really has way better longevity and sillage then rated in my opinion, or maybe it's my chemistry, but usually perfumes don't last on me this long. And the scent is lovely at first spray, but even gets better and better, the longer it is on my skin!
Edit II: Still love it, but I've noticed one shouldn't overspray this scent and not too close to the nose because this is a scent one can easily get nose-blind to. I guess that explains the relatively low ratings for sillage and longevity.
Edit III: Problem solved with Ceravé Intensive Moisterizing bodylotion as a base, I could smell it all day.
