Same old Akigala story..

Pulpy, juicy, citrusy, super impressive duration but....I cannot take anymore parfums with akigalawood..Bois Imperial, Blue Talisman, Shine Bright Despite/Everything..nice but boring—I mean, after a few seconds they all smell the same.
I can perfectly get why such parfum caterogy is a compliment magnet / mass-appealing.
Surely unique for those who have never experienced akigala—sweet, woody but somehow synthetic..
Not my cup of tea anymore.

It could hardly be more synthetic,

Very synthetic and for me a super tiring fragrance. It doesn't have that much to do with Guidance Eau de Parfum but it's annoying in the same way. I actually see a bit of similarity to Guidance Eau de Parfum.

The fragrance is very fruity in a super artificial way. The tangerine is clearly in the foreground and smells to me like a cheap / artificial tangerine juice. At its heart, my eternal nemesis radiates the lily of the valley, which fights a good fight over the leading role with the mandarin. In the drydown, the fragrance becomes more pleasant for me. It becomes much woodier and a hint of the synthetic recedes into the background. But it remains a very fruity/synthetic fragrance that has good longevity. It is absolutely not for me. I totally miss the noble and the beautiful. I also miss an occasion for the fragrance. But I often have problems with fruity perfumes, with a few exceptions.

It is very special and I understand why it has its fans. If you love fruity fragrances and don't mind synthetics, you'll probably like it.
I only partially understand the comparison with Ganymede Eau de Parfum. In my opinion, these two perfumes have very little in common. The two perfumes only have two notes in common and that's how different they smell to me. Ganymede Eau de Parfum is suitable for super classy occasions and has hardly any perceptible mandarin, whereas the Akigala Mandarino smells mainly of fruit ...

Something else...? ...yes, something pleasantly different!

Once again it was time to go shopping! But somehow none of my planned / favorite fragrances (previously read here and screenshooted to test extensively in the perfumery) gave so much to come home with...too bad! :-(

Now the saleswoman introduced New Notes and the new fragrance Akigala Mandarino from the same make. What can I say....

A beautiful, slightly sweet fruit basket presented itself to me. I emphasize slightly sweet because I don't like "really sweet" at all. The harmony between mandarin, apple, raspberry etc. with a little support from the sweetness already mentioned was excellently chosen and not just a "candy floss-like sweet". What's more, the fruit basket was discreet and not overloaded.

Amber and Akigalawood are added in the base note without taking over the initial scent. These notes allow the original fruitiness of the fragrance to continue and give it a mild woody-spicy note.

In this combination, Akigala Manderino is for me a fruity-sweet-woody-spicy (fruity = not exaggerated; sweet = subliminal, the latter two notes = very subtle) year-round fragrance that you like to wear when you want something different and your "own mood" calls for it.

A fragrance (which is not disturbing if dosed correctly) that is more than justified because it is pleasantly different...try it out!

Unbelievable...
i just wanted to test a few new brands that are now available in the Breuninger near us.
And then I came across it, I don't know what it was but I was on vacation somewhere in my childhood.
I had to put it on my skin...
And keep testing and smelling but Akigala Mandarino is in my nose all the time. What is this memory that it triggers in me?
I can't figure it out but I have to have the scent!!! Well, I bought it, showered at home and sprayed it on my fresh skin.
What can I say that's just me that surrounds like an aura around me I feel so comfortable as never before with a perfume and I really have some at home hahahahah.

The fragrance picked me up instantly, this fruitiness at the beginning and the transition to woody and yet remaining fresh is unbelievable.

Conclusion: keep your hands off this is mine!

I just wanted to browse

Last week, my best friend and I went to the city center! I wanted to pick out a new spring fragrance - I just wanted to take a sniff, but didn't want to commit just yet.
This wasn't such a clever tactic, as I know full well that I'm an impulsive shopper.

Now I'm in the perfumery, sniffing around, chatting and enjoying my time there. I thought I would leave the store empty-handed.

The nice consultant gave me the fragrance sprayed on a test strip and asked me what I thought of it.

I'm taking it with me today. It was not a point of discussion for me. It was that quick. I was delighted with the freshness, the sweetness and the pleasant fruits. The fragrance is indescribable. It is so harmonious. Synthetic-yes, but so refined and classy. I am blown away. I didn't even know the name of the fragrance and I've never heard of the brand. I only looked at the packaging and the bottle when I got home. That's how fast I can store (I won't comment on what that says about me.)

The fragrance is something special.

Amber usually overwhelms me, but here it is balanced and easy to perceive in the drydown.
I don't notice mandarin. For me, it's a fruity grape candy with white flowers and an earthy/synthetic woody note. Doesn't sound like it fits when written out, but somehow these components work so well together.

Overall, it has something of fresh laundry (I suspect it's the white flowers) and a summer fruit platter. It's really nice and fruity and I read it as more feminine, I find it hard to imagine the scent on a man.

The fragrance blew me away and I'm really very happy with it. The sillage and longevity are also unsurpassable.
