Interesting Facts
The fragrance label "Pineward" is truly unique in the fragrance world for numerous reasons.
First, the perfumer behind the fragrances. Young American entrepreneur Nicolas Nilson was born in 1995 and spent most of his time in the forests of the Rocky Mountains. As a child, Nilson was fascinated by woodsy scents, rugged landscapes, and unblemished nature; therefore, he quickly realized that his professional life would revolve around nature.
Nicolas learned and studied various facets such as kinetics, genomics, and biotechnology while holding down a part-time job as a gardener and acting as an understudy for several botany professors. Nilson crowned his efforts with his fragrance label, "Pineward" (2020), at only 25 years old.
The concept he is pursuing with "Pineward" is outstanding. The aromas tell the numerous reasons why the rule-breaking nose fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. It is about tree trunks, shrubs, firs, spruces, pines, and roots covered with clay, resin, or moss. Nicolas Nilson's goal with "Pineward" is to create "the ultimate fragrance line of pine and fir perfumes."
In its first two years of existence, "Pineward" has launched 25 fragrances and three sample sets that you can't quite define. And, of course, you can find an engraved tree on the bottles of "Apple Tobacco", "Autumn" or even "Icefall".
For distribution, "Pineward" uses large mail-order companies, beauty portals, fragrance stores, and the label's homepage.

Death and decay in the most beautiful way
I can't really improve upon DrB's review so I won't even try.
I concur with his words though - Funerie OG is a masterclass in perfumery. Absolutely mesmerising in it's austere beauty. You want rotten, musty wood and all of the new growths...
