A leather that is sometimes really beautiful, but then also has other twists and turns
Majestic Leather doesn't really come off well here, as you can see from the ratings.
Personally, however, I can only partially understand this. I suspect that some people find the leather unpleasant.
But I personally like it as far as possible. I think it's really well made over long distances.
At one point or another, especially as time goes on, it can seem a little old and musty in parts. To my nose, however, this section is much shorter than the predominantly positive part.
I think the fragrance starts with the leather listed in the base. The leather is joined by a slightly fruity plum, saffron and some clove. I'm not really a fan of clove, but here I find it relatively pleasant and not too dominant.
Over time, the fragrance can seem a little "unrounded" or it simply develops more rough edges.
On the one hand, this is due to the leather, which can appear slightly "musty" from time to time, but on the other hand there is the combination of tobacco or rather even a tobacco absolute and cypriol, as well as patchouli. Of course, these are also notes that can give this impression. Cypriol, for example, is also known to come across strongly smoky, leathery or woody from time to time.
We also have a rose that is recognizable but very pleasing in design.
I'm not really a big fan of roses either. But I think they're really okay here.
All in all, I think the fragrance is better, as rated here largely with points. But that's the way it is in our perfume world and that's a good thing.
Longevity and sillage are perfectly fine. It radiates quite well on me and lasts about 7 hours.
The fragrance can also be used unisex.
But I tend to see it more on a man.
