Lychee & Mint

Despite the unusual pairing, this fragrance isn't that out of the ordinary. You've probably smelled something like it before, albeit in the format of a generic shampoo like Pantene or Herbal Essences. It's refreshing, likable, and perfect for a spritz post-workout when you don't have time to shower and need to run some errands. I don't have any qualms with it, but I can't take it really seriously either

Summer, Sun, Mint Time

With this Acqua Colonia, it was truly love at first spray for me.
When spraying Eau de Cologne, the first 10 seconds are usually very alcoholic, and you have to get through that with the Lychee & White Mint as well. But then, the cooling mint scent is immediately present. Especially great in the height of summer. It refreshes wonderfully. Quite quickly, a fruity, slightly tart lychee joins in. But without competing for space with the mint. The actual freshness kick lasts about 10 minutes. Then, in combination, mint and lychee remain refreshingly well-balanced for a Cologne for quite a long time. Although close to the body, it is really very pleasant. Personally, the scent lasts for me in the close-to-body phase for up to four hours. The perfume is also great for cooling down even better after showering before you have to somehow endure the heat during tropical nights. With the very well-maintained alliance of the two fragrance notes, I feel very comfortable with it.
It's good that the Lychee & White Mint is not a limited edition. There’s a chance it will stay with me longer. I still miss the Acqua Colonia Cotton & Almond for spring and autumn.

Ahoj Raspberry-Flavored Effervescent Powder

The "Acqua Colonia Lychee & White Mint | 4711" completely surprised me. On one hand, I find this rather feminine scent, despite its low complexity, really beautiful, and on the other hand, this is a fragrance from the house of 4711 that actually lasts really well on my skin. I can still perceive it lightly after over 10 hours, and on clothing, it lasts even longer. The sillage is quite successful, and I've received several compliments from my best friend.

I actually have to mention the top, heart, and base notes all at once, as the aromas balance each other from start to finish. There are always very fruity and sweet aromas alternating, which curiously remind me of Ahoj raspberry-flavored effervescent powder and blackcurrant juice. I only perceive lychee to a limited extent. In the background, there is always a slight peppermint aroma.

This is a really nice, fresh, and simple everyday scent for women that I would recommend on warmer days. But I will also treat myself to this from time to time, as it is simply very well done.

Good Against Gray

Today it just wouldn't get bright - and the sky hangs gray and heavy like lead over the city.
