Cool Beauty
I have rarely encountered such special and straightforward clarity of expression on my fragrance journeys.
Acca Kappa presents the theme of lavender in a straightforward manner. Gently framed by friendly, dark-blooded - powdery violet, atmospheric incense, and delicate musk. Despite these beautiful undertones, which play a rather inconspicuous supporting role in the further development of the scent, the lavender appears pure, intense, and strict. A nearly sober metallic note also pushes forward a few times, simulating coolness. It is a pleasant experience, as it remains completely unspectacular and is entirely focused on the scent progression of the lavender. No adventurous scent labyrinths, no opulence ... instead, it is convincingly clear and comprehensible.
I find Blue Lavender extraordinarily appealing. Its strict demeanor reminds me of the objective expression and structure of L'orpheline.
Blue Lavender unfolds wonderfully on fresh spring days, as well as on summer and autumn evenings. White linens, flowing cold and warm shades of gray, or deep blue, cool colors fit well with this Eau de Cologne.
Blue Lavender impresses with its penetrating coolness and monothematic presence, which never becomes boring.

Unadorned Lavender
Once again something for lavender fans, I thought to myself... especially after Acca Kappa's Cedro completely failed with me, I naturally gave the brand another realistic chance. And this chance was taken, even though it was played down quite safely. Because I have rarely smelled a purer lavender scent, and there haven't been that many right in front of my nose. I have come to really like the smell of this flower, which stands just slightly behind iris or cedar.

For a moment I wondered if the lavender would be mixed with maritime aqua tones? No, thankfully not. The "Blue" probably refers more to the intensity and radiance of this unadulterated lavender. It shines alongside the blue sky and the azure sea of the French Provence. Although the scent could just as well have been called Purple Lavender, as I didn't necessarily accentuate and associate the color blue. It could have been that even more lavender-like purple. This radiance surely comes from the icy mint, which you don't smell directly, but you passively receive its aura. It never becomes really smoky or peppery in the linear progression, it was probably used very homeopathically. Overall beautiful, but also a bit lacking in tension.

Bottle: not worth describing.
Sillage: initially quite expressive, but then quickly more of something for the wearer and people who are very allergic to lavender and can smell it from 2 km against the wind.
Longevity: from minute 1 to hour 6 - radiant blue lavender.

One could almost take it as a demonstration example to show newcomers how lavender smells... simply beautiful, even if for the majority nowadays in this undiluted form it seems too classic and out of date. For me, it is also such a pleasure, especially in spring, although it is one-sided!

This is just lavender...

Is lavender actually blue or purple or lavender-colored?

Here, it seems to be blue lavender. But no matter what color it is, the scent is simply lavender! I don't smell anything else (at the very beginning, I have a slightly citrusy vision, but only for a very brief moment).

First pure fresh lavender scent, later warm lavender scent.

Unfortunately, this warm scent sets in quite early ("unfortunately" not because it smells bad afterwards, but because the scent fades so quickly) and that is the only drawback of the fragrance. But for those who like to spray, they can truly indulge here!

A good, nature-inspired scent from the brand Acca Kappa, I will definitely test more from them!

Blue Lavender Fields
Lavender fields in southern France, I see them immediately after spraying.
And I smell lavender.
Very true to nature, at first aromatic and slightly spicy.
Then the lavender becomes creamier and softer. I am blown away!!

A gentle lavender - well-groomed - scent, for both women and men, for fans of clean scents, not a bit old-fashioned.

I don't smell any incense. Presumably, it is meant to give this rather fleeting scent a bit more fixation.
Perfect for the warmer season, autumn, as well as for all occasions where a light, subtle fragrance is desired.

I draw parallels to Chloe's "Eau de Fleurs Lavande," as well as to Prada's "Luna Rossa," which have a far better longevity.

Lavender wonderfully integrated into a light blue frame of wood and musk: still authentic and subtly spicy: elegant!

Okay, I'm sorry, but I have to say this: What kind of gross, artificially floral concoction is this???? I feel sick....

I never thought I would discover a beautiful banana scent with this fragrance! Banana and lavender blend perfectly here. Totally delicious mix.

Smells like the speik lavender in the garden with soap. Not real lavender, unpleasant scent. I think there are much nicer lavenders.

Starts off promising: strong, ethereal. But then it quickly becomes flat, stale, and bland... Bland in the stomach.
