It was a great blind buy for the summer
I recently got my 9am Dive as a blind buy, been waiting for it because I wanted a fresh and long lasting scent for the hot summer days and the delivery guy ringed the door literally at 9am.

It was a blind buy, and just before I was really thinking about Legend Spirit, but read the longevity isn't as good on that, and 9am Dive was even cheaper so it made it obvious for me since I was on a budget and wanted to try Afnan fragrances so this is my first but surely not my last one.

-- Scent --
It's a very fresh pleasant modern scent, great for everyday use and for summer and spring days, also it's compound and well balanced it has like a 15% similarity to Dylan Blue for me, which is a lovely scent but I wouldn't use that on hot summer days because it's too "dense", which 9am Dive is perfect for.

-- Longevity & Sillage --
Pretty good longevity for a fresh fragrance, sillage is solid too, could be even a bit much inside buildings if you spray a lot. Generally 4-6 sprays should be enough.

-- Bottle --
I think it looks fancy, you can see they used quality materials because the bottlecap is heavy too.
The bottle itself could be more stable, it seems as more the fragrance running out the more unstable it gets.

Give it a try definitely it's a safe blind buy if you are looking for a fresh, longer lasting cheapie for the summer-spring, it gets the job done. I recommend it:)

Thanks for reading.

Synthetic fragrance but acceptable
I tried a 5ml sample of the 9am Dive fragrance and I can say that the opening is very annoying synthetic and continues to the synthetic notes with an annoying sweet hint until the end.
With all due respect to everyone, the scent of the fragrance reminds me of the scent of fragrances that most Indians use. It seems that the fragrance maker (who is not announced) is of Indian origin.
Afnan is a fairly good perfume house, enough that they made Turathi Blue, I don't know exactly why Afnan made this fragrance, which is considered a downfall.
=======================
Update: I bought a full bottle. Honestly, the scent isn't that awful; it's fresh and pleasant if you can get past the annoyingly sweet synthetic opening. Once you move beyond that initial sweetness, the fragrance reveals a more complex character with subtle fruity and citrus notes that really brighten it up. Overall, it’s a scent that grows on you, making it quite enjoyable for everyday wear.

Good Summer Scent for Younger Ages.
This cologne opens up quite synthetic at first but give it 10 minutes it gets better, fresher, greener and more sweet as time goes on. I can understand how the older audience can dislike this because I really think that this is best suitable for youthful school teenagers.

I think that over spraying and under spraying this is quite easy because in my experience if you spray 1 time the smell disappears immediately giving you a sense to over spray this again and again. However that is a bad mistake for me, it just take 3-5 minutes before my nose can register the smell and oh boy I did overspray it badly.

I recommend spraying 1-2 time for subtle clean school or office smell, and clubbing in summertime 2-4 sprays. I do not recommend spraying over 6 times as this can smell really really strong and synthetic and it turns into a strong car scent and not in a good way.

This is a really good starter fragrance for the younger audience, and for office, school and everyday summertime wear. But be quite careful though this is a 50/50 blind buy, I recommend this fragrance and is actively in my rotation.

8.1/10. After an hour the sillage decreases into 1m subtle scent. Great uplifting scent.

Nope.
I have both this and CDN Iconic. I tested them once on each arm. 9AM Dive has weaker projection, weaker longevity, and a more synthetic smell than CDN Iconic. It might have been a good BDC clone when it came out, but these days, you can do much better. Didn't get me wrong, it's not horrible... If all you budget for a clone is $20, then it's still you best option (on sale). Otherwise, go with CDN Iconic.

A surprise that matures over time
My relationship with 9am Dive has changed significantly over time. Initially, I was not entirely convinced - I had even written a statement reflecting my opinion at the time. The fragrance didn't initially seem to live up to my expectations. But after some time, during which it sat untouched in my collection, I gave it a second chance and was pleasantly surprised.

In contrast to my first experience, where the fragrance evaporated quickly and did not unfold clearly, I realized that 9am Dive needed some time to mature. After these months, the fragrance had somehow changed. The freshness, which initially seemed almost one-dimensional, was now complex and multi-layered. Instead of individual notes, I now perceived a harmonious overall picture in which every nuance blended into a convincing whole.

What had changed in particular was the longevity and sillage. Originally rather unobtrusive, the fragrance now had a presence that was both persistent and striking. This positive development surprised me, as it is rare for a perfume to 'evolve' so clearly.

This experience with 9am Dive has taught me an important lesson: Fragrances can change and evolve over time. What may initially appear as a lack of depth can later turn out to be a rich and well-rounded profile. Today, 9am Dive is a fragrance I cherish - for its mutability and the way it has evolved over time. It's an example of how patience can pay off, especially in the world of perfume.

Overall, 9am Dive is now an impressive fragrance in my collection. It combines a pleasant freshness with a depth and longevity that makes it ideal for different occasions and moods. It is a perfume that shows how a first impression can change and deserves a second chance.

Smells like most designer takes on a really aquatic and fresh fragrance, but better and for like an 1/8 of the price.
