Naff bottle, delicious juice
So yes I don't really care for the bottle, it's awkward and it looks tacky.

That being said, the contents are absolutely a-ma-zing. This fragrance tickles my brain so good omg I can't get enough of it. It's a powdery, coconutty vanilla, perfectly gourmand, sweet, delicious.

As an added bonus, it seems to last absolute ages on fabric. I sprayed some on an overcoat probably over a month ago and I can still smell it. The coat was on the back of my chair mind you, so it still has some sillage after all this time. That's excellent value for money!

I can't comment on how close it is to Vanilla Powder because I've never had the pleasure to smell it.

Don’t be Fooled!
Don't be fooled by the bottle adorned with a rose bouquet! This fragrance has nothing to do with rose notes. It's a clone that surpasses the original Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premiere. On my dry skin, it comes across as much sweeter and has less dry sandalwood than the original.

The key difference with Blooming Bliss lies in the combination of Palo Santo, Caramel and Coconut, which creates a slightly floral sweet accord opening. This eventually evolves into a beautifully sweet, somewhat light powdery vanilla and sandalwood dry-down. The balance is so remarkable that it elevates the fragrance to a more sophisticated vanilla scent. Definitely a must have type of fragrance.

The More Moderate Vanilla Powder
Yes, they smell very similar. But… Blooming Bliss is by no means as dense, rich, and strong in sillage as Vanilla Powder.

Here too, I initially smell a subtle, slightly powdery but also fruity vanilla. The coconut and Palo Santo are also clearly noticeable here. However, everything is much more restrained and subtle.

Vanilla Powder really has power and could be called Vanilla Power; it is truly potent, and you will be noticed, whether you want to be or not. For some, it might be too strong or overwhelming. Blooming Bliss is the more agreeable variant and somewhat more reserved, although its longevity is not bad at all.

I am super happy to have Blooming Bliss in my collection, as it gives me a more affordable alternative. Now I can wear the scent as often as I want, whenever I feel like it, whether at home after showering to sleep or for work. It simply brings me immense joy and fun to wear. Every time I wear Blooming Bliss or even Vanilla Powder, my little niece always says, "Auntie, you always smell so, so good like vanilla." I am always very pleased.

Oh yes... Vanilla Powder's cousin
Just picked it up from the package shop, unpacked it at the bus stop and sprayed it on:
Right out of the box, no aging needed - the youngest sister from Afnan's Souvenir line with just as striking a bouquet of roses as her sisters, but this time in a red-black combination.
The sillage is decent, you immediately smell vanilla, Palo Santo, coconut, and something fresh to keep it from being too overwhelming. I really like it! I will spray Vanilla Powder again in the next few days and compare directly, but as far as I remember, this is a very similar perfume and I am very happy about it!
I will keep you updated, stay tuned...

Synthetic vanilla with a sour, unpleasant off-note.
In the dry down, it resembles Erba Pura a lot for me.
Terrible.

One of my best. Soft, powdery vanilla with a hint of tropical notes, becoming woody, with a slight touch of coconut. Perfect for any occasion.

"Vanilla Powder | Matière Première" has a distant relative vibe, yes. Plus, I'm getting some "Erba Pura | XerJoff" vibes too.

Smells to me like a fresher and fruitier version of Khamrah with a coconut note added. Intense, long-lasting, and unisex.

Definitely smells very similar to "Vanilla Powder | Matière Première." At first, you get a very feminine note.

First impression. Doesn't smell like Khamra to me. No unpleasant off-note here. Very pleasant soft, sweet-creamy scent.

Powdery vanilla combined with sweet/creamy woody notes wrapped in a cloud of musk.
Warm, cozy, and absolutely suitable for everyday wear.
