Definitely not a safe blind buy
This one is unique.
To me, it smells like an old tree trunk that has been soaked in seawater and then dried in the sun. It's woody, salty, with hints of iodine and mineral notes. Odd, unisex, best in the summer.

I almost hated it and was so close to selling it, but then it caught my attention again and sparked my imagination.

I love it, I hate it, I don't understand it, but I wear it regularly and enjoy it every time.

Monsoon beach day
Beach Hut Woman conjures a stormy day on an island paradise with salty minerality, bergamot, a lovely candied ylang ylang, and just a hint of patchouli. This combination is strange but lovely: earthy, tropical, sensual, wistful. You're sipping a cocktail on your hotel balcony as you watch rain beat down on the last day of your vacation.

Edited to add, since for some reason this information isn't included here: the nose for this one was Elise Benat.

Bitter
This perfume is a strange one indeed. It must not be working with my body chemistry because all I smell is a sharp, salty, bitterness that never improved throughout the day.

It’s not a good bitter, like citrus. It’s bitter like salt water. There’s great sillage and longevity, unfortunately for me. I had hoped it would change throughout my day as I did chores and even sweated some, but nope.
This Amouage perfume was a fail for me.

Woody Aquatic fragrance from different perspective
This is an interesting fragrance as it gives a unique interpretation of an aquatic fragrance. To give you an idea, Imagine you are on a nice beach coast and everybody takes a photo of the sea/ocean but someone finds an old, wet driftwood on the coast and takes a photo of that in the sea background. This is how we may see/feel a scenery in a different way. This is another interpretation of aquatic fragrance.

I really enjoy the mineral, and driftwood accords of this fragrance. My most loved fragrances are those that connect me somehow to my childhood. I was not born in a coastal town, but if you were, this would be a very interesting and memorable fragrance for you. Not a safe blind buy.

No love from first sight
When I tested the Beach Hat for the first time, I had the feeling I have swallowed with sea water, so doll I felt the salt smell. Whensinn, I thought, what is it, it stinks of water, salt and soaked wood, so I do not want to smell! But after a few minutes has changed! What a metamorphosis. It smells yes of the sea, but now pleasant, wood and beautiful flowers.... I love this scent, it makes me feel like I'm on a beach where there is no more, just me and sea.... Free... Happy

This is not fancy or glamourous. This is a mineral scent that smells like warm driftwood, salt, sand and wind. Truly mesmerizing and unisex

Salty, sea glass green, mineral. Perfectly evocative of rolling around in the sand near the sea. You must love aquatics...too bad I don't!

Transparent, watercolor wash of patchouli overlaid with a salty mineralic accord. Smells wet, like you're hanging out "under the boardwalk".

Salty sea water, wet grass + driftwood, sweetness from Ylang, sounds strange but it's mythic, beautiful, smooth, refreshing. Men try this!
