Nicely done
Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of Grandenia :-) I really like this citrusy-soapy fragrance. To my great surprise, it only lasts about 6 to 8 hours on my skin. But the sillage is much better.
The top note starts off decidedly citrusy thanks to bergamot, limes and lemons. The soapy heart note quickly emerges. It smells floral of gardenia and tuberose, but also balsamic and chypre. Over time, this soapiness increases and I like the fragrance even more. There is also a hint of rosemary. The base smells spicy, woody, oriental and somewhat balsamic. I recognize nutmeg, allspice, sandalwood, ambergris, saffron and tonka beans. There is also a powdery note here.
The more often I sniff my wrist, the more I like the Grandenia :-)
