Okay heatwave, come at me if you dare!
Hey folks, welcome to a new fragrance description from me. Today we're talking about a brand that I personally really like, namely Atelier Cologne. They have quite a few great, fresh scents that are especially wearable in the summer and of course smell good, provided you like citrus fragrances.
And today we're discussing one of the newest scents from this brand, namely "Bohemian Orange Blossom." It is an orange fragrance, and as a citrus lover, I adore such scents. Personally, I like the scent of oranges, mandarins, and grapefruits even a bit more than the scent of lemons, but I generally really enjoy citrus fragrances. For me, these scents are a lifesaver in summer when it gets hot (well... I only mean that in a weather sense... *sigh*... :D). I'm really not a fan of extreme heat... everyone looks forward to summer and says on cold winter days that they miss summer and that it should be as hot as possible... okay, I have nothing against temperatures of 25-28 degrees, but as soon as it goes over 30 degrees, it gradually becomes uncomfortable. As soon as you exert yourself a little, you start sweating. It gets even worse when it's humid and you become sticky everywhere and just stick to everything.
Have you ever tried to get up from a leather couch during a heatwave without tearing your skin off? He he, you know exactly what I mean! When even the usually playful cats barely move on such days and prefer to find the coolest and shadiest spot to spend the whole day, then you know it's definitely too hot. And you like this heat? Did I mention in one of my comments that you're all a bit crazy? :DDD
He he, well, luckily there are scents like this one that, with their zesty freshness, at least allow a summer-battered person to breathe a little and maybe even bring a small smile to their face, as they smell very good despite the sweltering heat and thus provide a bit of good mood, at least for the moment. And this scent here manages to do that, as I find it very successful, even though at its core it is actually a very, very simple and straightforward fragrance.
A little later, it actually smells like it did at the beginning. I continue to smell oranges and orange peels with a nice, citrusy freshness. A bit of neroli comes in over time, and now and then it smells (probably also due to the neroli) slightly sweet-floral, but otherwise, the scent is quite simple, so you smell a lot of citrusy orange, and that continues all the way to the end. At the very end, much of the scent has actually faded, and it smells of (now significantly weaker) citrusy-bitter orange, which doesn't smell that great anymore, but this affects many scents in this direction, so it's not a problem for me personally, as this is the point where I know I should reapply the fragrance.
It is one of those fragrances that you could easily fill into a small sample spray or travel atomizer to reapply throughout the day, as it doesn't last very long and despite multiple applications, it doesn't really get stronger.
Of course, everyone who doesn't like orange scents or citrus perfumes in general won't find any pleasure in this fragrance, no matter how good my review is, as everything is a matter of taste. But anyone looking for a nice, fresh scent can definitely give this fragrance a try. As mentioned at the beginning, I find these citrus colognes from Atelier Cologne quite successful, even if they are sometimes quite simple. Other noteworthy and thus test-worthy fragrances from this brand, especially for hot summer days, would be (in my opinion) Bergamote Soleil, Clémentine California (a somewhat underrated perfume, I think), Grand Néroli, Orange Sanguine, and Pomélo Paradise.
Well, that's it from me, and yes, have a nice evening, see you later :)
PS: Man, why do I have to talk about heatwaves... tomorrow and Sunday it's supposed to be 36-38 degrees here, probably also humid... and people wonder why I don't like summer... aaaaarghrghrgh... :D

The scent:
At the beginning, I smell a juicy orange that smells absolutely delicious and authentic. You can smell both the juicy-citrusy but also slightly sweet fruit flesh as well as the citrusy and slightly bitter orange peel. The sillage and longevity:
Unfortunately, the sillage is just as I suspected, namely rather weak. Sure, it is definitely a summer fragrance, but I would have wished for a bit more intensity; however, I am still not completely dissatisfied, as there are far weaker citrus fragrances out there. The longevity is about three hours, after which it still smells for another 4-5 hours of sour-bitter something, as mentioned above in the scent description. The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with strongly rounded edges and corners and is filled with yellowish fragrance liquid. The label starts, as always, on a large part of the front of the bottle and continues to the back. You can see patterned lines, with the name and brand visible on the front. Depending on the edition and size of the bottle, the chrome cap may have a leather covering or not, just like the presence of the leather case into which the bottle can be placed. Overall, however, the bottle is very nice and feels good in the hand. Conclusion:
So... since I've already talked so much in the introduction, I'll keep this short here, as you could already read my conclusion in the introduction. Yes, I find this fragrance extremely successful. It may be quite simple, as it strictly speaking only smells of oranges and a bit of neroli, but the fragrance notes come across as very zesty and authentic in my opinion, creating a very nice and fresh scent that not only smells good but can also provide a bit of relief on hot days. It is one of those fragrances that you could easily fill into a small sample spray or travel atomizer to reapply throughout the day, as it doesn't last very long and despite multiple applications, it doesn't really get stronger.
