Seductive for the Night

Far away beyond the moon is an expressive, seductive fragrance that transforms throughout the evening.
At first, it captivates with a blend of subtle sweetness from cherry and a slightly bitter undertone of sandalwood, which may seem really intensely sweet at first glance, but the wonder flower balances it out a bit, so it doesn't come off as too overpowering. After a few hours, the scent becomes increasingly woody, with the sweetness receding somewhat.
I personally really like it and prefer to wear it in the evenings, which makes the name beyond the moon particularly fitting. I associate the fragrance with a celebration or a date on a starry night under the moonlight.
Unfortunately, the longevity isn't great for me. However, it is significantly enhanced when combined with the body lotion.
The fragrance is suitable for strong women who want to feel seductive and sexy.

Of Moons, Cherries, and Obsession

The cherry seems to be the trend fruit of the year, following TF's successful fragrances with "something with Cherry." We find this little fruit everywhere in niche and designer perfumes listed as a top ingredient. Now also at Avon in the FarAway line.
I confess, I like FarAway. Preferably the original, but some flankers are also fine. One just has to know what to expect: sweetness, little change, moderate sillage, and by now, not the longevity it had ten years ago. But that doesn't matter, because sometimes you just want exactly that.
Now to Beyond the Moon. The scent offers everything that many people are looking for today: orientation, cherry, comfort through calorie-reduced sweetness, warmth from woods, youthful Huba Buba. All of this with a chemical FarAway base note that lasts for two to three hours.
I know, that doesn't sound very nice, but it's not meant to be mean, that's the FarAway vibe.
I find the bottle quite successful. It also has the typical FA shape, this time in midnight blue, really pretty. I miss the little tassel that was present in the original, but it has probably fallen victim to cost efficiency. With prices between €17 and €20, we can probably no longer expect that; such are the times.
What the scent has to do with the moon, I do not understand. It could have been named "Sheila's Visit to the Bazaar" or "Housewives out of Control" or simply "Possession." Oh well, I take you as you are; you belong in my collection. I probably won't wear you often, but you have a place in my personal FarAway harem!
