In 1812, La Maison Bruno Court was founded in Grasse, attracting the attention of the aristocracy of Europe and Russia at the time with its personalized fragrance creations.
Almost two centuries later, in 2009, the Brecourt brand was founded in Paris to continue the legacy of La Maison Bruno Court – significantly influenced by Emilie Bouge, a fourth-generation perfumer and granddaughter of the former owners.
Her expertise has enabled the refinement of the house's existing perfume formulation techniques. In order to meet its own standards and ensure consistent product quality, the brand established its own workshops in Grasse.
Emilie Bouge, who has also created fragrances for Novellista, Miller Harris, Berdoues, Trudon, and other brands, is the perfumer behind all of Brecourt's releases to date and is a sought-after talent at French fragrance and aroma manufacturer Robertet in Grasse.
