Fig laying on a leather couch with wood chips and a man's spiciness
Lovely fruity, thick fig with a waxy-like facet accompanied by a burst of sweet, juicy citrus fruits. After that it's figs lying on a leather couch surrounded by wood chips and spicy vetiver with some sweetness. It smells dark, mysterious and alluring for a man. Very masculine-leaning due to the spiciness and the woodiness. Praline ends up appearing after a while, lending a powdery sweetness to the scent and tempering it down a bit from it's strong spiciness and woodiness. Leather takes a backseat (ha ha.) as fig also recedes and praline goes stronger with time as woodiness also starts taking over. Drydown is warm, woody, sweet with a weird sour note that reminded me of the citrus fruits at the top. That sour note is probably what lowered the score even further for me.
Overall, I was pretty indifferent to the leather note as it wasn't too "sport's car leather upholstery", but I'm not a fan of manly spices and woodiness so this won't be making it into my collection. Not the worst scent i've smelled from my Scent Xplore, but not the best either. I have a feeling there's something better out there and less expensive too.
