Adventurous course of the year
A small sample - a new fragrance from "Chloe", is also new to my nose. I have hardly smelled anything similar, despite many years of fragrance experience.
I am only familiar with the two original fragrances from the 1970s: The Fleur de Narcisse and the Chloé (1975) Eau de Toilette , which are real olfactory "gutter hits".
This "Atelier de Fleurs - Immortelle | Chloé" is a fine, versatile floral fragrance that knows how to take subtle "adventurous" paths. It plays with the seasons, which are not always in chronological order.
There is the very early spring, which is characterized by cool citrus fruits. At the same time, I can recognize the flowers of summer right in the middle! Jasmine and some tuberose lead the way.
However, the "full spring" is a little long in coming. Because first it seems to be autumn! The silvery, leafy immortelle is fragrant here, together with woods.
But then, when a delicate "aquatic" and slightly salty scent appears, the "full spring" on the seashore with its pleasant temperatures and slightly humid air becomes a treat for the nose. Much later, after the summer blossoms become stronger again and the "immoral woody autumn" creeps up on us. Characterized by warm vanilla and a little orange.
And soon the "circle of the seasons" closes with the awakening cool citrus fruits of early spring... Finesse in a bottle :-))
