A green, green freshie for the organic, natural girl
Do you like green noted perfumes? If yes, this could be an interesting addition to your perfume arsenal. Not at all sweet, but somehow still airy and feminine, with this perfume Chloe set out to make a perfume out of 100% natural ingredients derived directly from nature. No synthethics.
As your scent options therefore are limited in this situation, what resulted is a very green, very light scent. The projection isn't large and neither is the longevity, so you would need to overspray. The perfume is so green its a bit sharp in its green-ness, but not screechy.
Its a fun experiment in perfumery, and once you know the story behind the scent, the smell of it makes sense. But you've got to be into green notes to like this, because its almost all green, with a very light, ozonic touch and just very light overall, with a sharp, dare I say, almost bitter note. It opens on a greenish citrus note, that fades quite quickly. I personally don't get much of the rose in it, neither the mimosa or neroli. What I mostly get is that citron, blackcurrant and cedarwood accord.
It's not my personal favourite, but I can see it fit for the minimalistic, organic, sustainable lifestyle oriented person who likes to wear whites and linens. Suitable for all ages maybe except teens. Definitely a daytime scent, it's and easy grab-and-spray that you don't have to think too much about, suitable for free time, picnics, walks on the beach, you know, fresh things. Could maybe even be fit for a nurse as a subtle, clean green scent. Did I say green a lot? I think you get the idea. :)

Not my taste; a very "your skin but elevated" scent
Following several sprays of this perfume, I'm immediately hit with a strong rose scent. It's overwhelmingly floral, although it has a slight woodiness to it that reminds of a plant stem. It loses a lot of its intensity after a few seconds, which lends itself to a slight lemony scent. It's quite a mature scent and seems to lean a bit older in its target demographic. I may be slightly biased due to one of my grandmothers wearing a rose-heavy perfume, so you may feel differently if you have a different association.

This scent fades fairly quickly for a name brand, but maybe that's the point given how much this perfume touts its naturalness. This is perfect if you're looking for a very lived in, floral scent, in a sense that you'd like to smell good but not overwhelming. It is so subtle that l'd imagine it'd be very easy for someone to assume you just naturally smell like this rather than it being from a perfume. However, personally, I like my perfumes to be more distinct. Not to the overpowering level of a middle school boy going ham with a bottle of Axe in a locker room, but I do like it to seem like I'm wearing a perfume. For that reason, this is a skip for me.

Young Spring Awakening Surrounded by Soap Bubbles
As the days get warmer and buds let their first juicy leaves sprout in the sunlight, Eau Naturelle also opens its fragrance buds.

The opening is citrusy-bitter, with candied lemon clearly dominating - it will accompany us throughout the entire fragrance journey. The blackcurrant bud joins smoothly and gives Eau Naturelle a soapy direction. I am a bit irritated, or is this the typical Chloé character? More soap bubbles than nature.. After a few minutes, the Bulgarian rose shines through the soap, warming pleasantly and weightlessly. It takes over tactfully, green notes follow it into a pastel green scent spectacle.. Light neroli adds feminine notes..
I feel like I am in a compressed flower meadow. Dew-fresh, flower by flower opens, mimosa now sprinkles in powdery notes.

Now I wait.. and wait, oh cedar? Where are you..?
Either it is a very young, shy cedar or it disappears under a soapy-green-floral-pastel pink foliage.. I cannot identify a clear cedar note for the life of me; it could just as well be hazelnut. Gradually, mimosa adds a warming sweetness.. Very shy branches emerge from this fresh-floral green, laying it in a silky base.. Fresh, romantic, green-beautiful.

Conclusion: As the rose bloomed in the fragrance journey, I began to like Chloé's Eau Naturelle more. I don't know if I could cope with the soapy character of the fragrance (probably the citrus combined with the floral), which ultimately reminds me a bit of diffuse hairspray notes. I just can't warm up to that. Perhaps I would layer it with 2Wood for her to achieve a stronger woody base. I guess I am simply not a Chloé type. :')

Those who resonate with Chloé in its fundamental character will find pleasure in Eau Naturelle.

Weak Green Ribbon
CHLOÉ Eau de Parfum Naturelle comes in the usual Chloé bottle with a ribbon and looks very beautiful.

When sprayed, there is a brief hint of roses. The scent itself is quite fresh, like just out of the shower, and has a woody base note but no wow effect. It is more of a fragrance that you might spray on quickly when you don't have anything else at hand. On my skin, the scent shows significant weaknesses in longevity. After a few gentle attempts, I tried with about 8 sprays, but unfortunately with the same result. And my surroundings don't notice the scent at all.

Unfortunately, it does not meet my expectations, and I will not repurchase it.

Oh Chloé ...
I really like your opening. Pleasant citrus and freshly mowed, but dry grass. For anyone who grew up in a small town: the top notes of Chloé naturelle smell like childhood in a bottle!
But then, really just 5 minutes later, the somewhat scratchy, typical Chloé rose comes through. The meadow associations are gone. Instead, there’s grandma’s rose soap: nice, neat, but terribly boring.
The longevity and sillage are really so weak, I have never experienced anything like this before: after a maximum of 2 hours, not even the rose is perceptible, let alone any of the base notes. Neither on test strips nor on the skin.
Very unfortunate, but this flanker was really unnecessary.

Beautiful green roses with a vintage quality - the neroli and rose are beautifully blended in this.

Stepping into a floral shop in December with condensed florals, cool refrigeration and pine garlands. Intensely charming but too strong.

This rose is so prickly green, harsh + thorny that I'm freezing. Association: bathroom cleaner with a chlorine note.

The famous Chloë Rose is "still more reserved." Contains real rose oil, but still a lot of synthetics. Nice and subtle. Yawn.

Fresh for spring, uplifting. Delicate citrus, unsweetened rose. Woody notes in the background. Not the worst scent from Chloé. H+S works well for me.

At the beginning, a sour currant dominates, but as it develops, the scent becomes green-bitter with a rather thin rose. Unremarkable.

A fresh rose scent with lemon in the opening and lots of cedarwood in the drydown. Anyone who loves fresh and floral fragrances should definitely give it a try.

Delicate, unobtrusive rose scent - actually a "clean scent" that lives up to its name. A friendly go-to for any time and place.
