Oud + fabric softener

Chopard's Agar Royal starts with a blend of citrusy florals and a hint of patchouli and vetiver. All that quickly melts away into pleasant woody oud. Soon there is a discordant synthetic-feeling note like fabric softener in the background competing with the oud. Perhaps it is menthol from the trademarked Oud Assafi. If you can get past that it is really a nice fragrance.

Féminine refinement

tested today thanks to a sample. the perfume is put in the masculine category but I find it more feminine.

a great discovery after the Chopar Aigle Imperial which makes it more mixed.

a smell that I don't remember having ever smelled anywhere else. This perfume smells of elegance and refinement but feminine. It's really an ideal perfume for mid-season and after the shower.

soft, soapy, slightly powdery and original, it will certainly add to Madame's collection.

the trail is very discreet, the hold is average because it lasts about 6 hours.
