A watery lavender?
Hey, guys, how you doing? Are you happy to "see" me again? Well, I should hope so! D
Anyway, today I am presenting a brand of which I had already introduced some fragrances here, but which I had hardly mentioned for some time. Now there was a small sample from Crabtree & Evelyn in my sample box for a long time, namely "Lavender Water", which sounds very much like lavender... oh, who would have thought it, with that name? DD
Anyway, Crabtree & Evelyn is a nice brand, I even like the name very much, even if I should sometimes jokingly call it the "crab tree fragrances" :D
There are some great scents of them, like "Persian Thé" (sure, a tea scent!), "Himalayan Blue" (sure, another tea scent!) or "Somerset Meadow" (HA! That's NOT a tea scent! :D).
Now comes "Lavender Water", of which I can only imagine a lavender scent, which is probably light and loose and therefore probably a scent for warmer days, but we'll see that in a moment.
Basically, the fragrance stays like this for quite a while and smells like lavender and other flowers as well as fresh scents as described. The classic might look a little like oakmoss every now and then, but that can only happen to me. However, this impression does not last long. What smells rather longer is a fragrance that smells like the water in flower shops, which has taken on a kind of "flowery taste" due to all the flowers in it, and thus smells like sweet-smelling flowers, which come across as light and diluted and seem quite nice.
In the base, the fragrance remains classic and still smells of lavender and general flowers, but then comes over a little bit, even if there is still a certain, but small, sweetness.
The silage and the durability:*
The sillage is rather weak and will therefore not be able to be smelled at longer distances. Due to the also weak durability of only a few hours, you would even have to stand quite close to someone to be able to smell the scent at all.
You can imagine that a fragrance with such scents is something for spring and summer. However, it is no longer produced, so that it can hardly be tested anymore, but you don't have to be sad about it. Because although the scent is already beautiful, it smells, as mentioned, like hundreds of scents, which you have all surely sniffed before. If you know some of these fragrances, you know almost all of them. It's kind of like my comments, do you know one, do you know all the others *sigh*... so what else are you reading here? Do something more meaningful, enjoy the evening with a nice cup of coffee or a glass of tea or something, go pet a cat or something else :D
In any case have a nice evening, then see you next time :)
