Less Partridge Family, more Family International
Without a doubt one of the worst fragrances I’ve ever actually tested on my own skin. Decided I wanted to try it based on the eyecatch art on their website, got a sample; Starts off with a musty jasmine smell and I thought “huh ok this is kinda 70s, cute”... and then it took a nosedive into Tootsie Roll and Cat Urine. No idea what notes combine to make that- maybe the coffee and the jasmine?

Took me a few hours to scrub off the back of my hand. It evokes the 70s as intended, but I’m not sure “dirty vhs tape left behind in the compound after an fbi siege” was what they were really going for.

Addictive substance
Now that summer is almost here, I like to bring out my fresh, citrusy fragrances. But I also like to have a light floral in between. When I first read the description of Brown Flowers, it somehow piqued my interest and I had to get a sample. When I sprayed it on for the first time, I thought well, quite a nice floral bouquet, but not very exciting. After a while, the freshness suddenly fades, the flowers wither, dry out, turn brown and then the delicate coffee flower peeps out and takes over, until finally a fine coffee aroma is added and the whole thing comes together in a grandiose finale to form a soft, elegant fragrance.
I don't think I've ever smelled another perfume with such a great finish. It's addictive!

Conceptually works: nondescript flowers with a sweet, “brown” ripeness, sort of a transitional hue after Big Sur and Steamed Rainbow. Hmm

Just a boring white floral. No hint of coffee, earthiness or anything remotely interesting.
