A plush onesie full of soft pudding

Full transparency, I don’t know what a pistachio smells like-- my only experience with them is as savory salt-barnacle-crusted nibbles. This fragrance is not that. It’s soft, cardamom-blossomed, marzipan-petaled; a floral meringue, velvety heliotrope musk of a scent, sprinkled with a pinch of vanilla cake mix. Imagine all of that in a fluffy pudding. Now convert that pudding to a plush velour onesie. Ok yes, there it is. An adult onesie full of pudding. Subtly sweet, close to the skin, not really all that potent, and yet somehow...aggressively cozy?

Addictive and nutty

Pistachio is a unique and very gorgeous fragrance. I had been expecting gelato but this is not milky at all. The opening is strong - green notes, nutty and woodsy. It is a rather unidimensional scent. This comes as no surprise as the top, middle and base notes are all pistachio x 3.

I’m especially impressed by the longevity. I liberally sprayed myself before bedtime and it is still going strong, albeit a skin scent, 12 hours later. The dry down is addictive. I couldn’t stop sniffing my arm throughout the evening. As the scent progresses, it mellows quite a bit. Hints of pistachio waft through the air. I even detect hints of coffee.

I think Pistachio would pair well with many other perfumes. For example, pistachio and chocolate , or with any boozy scent. I’m eager to layer with my Burning Barbershop or Handbook for the Recently Deceased to get smoky roasted nuts. I think Bowmakers would also provide a strong woody backbone. I am delighted to have a bottle. I think it would work best in the colder months. It is a fabulous gourmand.

No pistachio scent

I do not perceive pistachios, but a slightly spicy note and a light creamy note.
This fragrance is medium heavy and is more suitable for an evening.

Like a quiet, calm evening in front of the fireplace ... with a glass of wine and something hearty ... quiet music ... After about 3 hours I hardly notice the perfume .

Relatively dry, spicy and above all nutty fragrance

Pistachio is a spicy, nutty fragrance. I don't know whether you can directly perceive pistachio. But generally nutty associations definitely come across. For me, even more in the direction of almond with light marzipan vibes.

The fragrance starts directly with this nutty character. You can also immediately perceive this pleasant wintry spiciness.
In my opinion, this spiciness has certain similarities to a Parfums de Marly Oajan, for example. However, the fragrances do not smell the same, that is definitely not what is meant.
But this spice follows similar paths.

The pistachio has a certain sweetness, but is by no means overly sweet or even sticky. It generally comes across as a little dry. A kind of dry sweetness, difficult to describe.
Furthermore, the patchouli becomes more and more noticeable over time. A thoroughly earthy patchouli.

I like the fragrance, but something is missing. Nevertheless, it has a solid design.

The performance could be better. This great nutty character is caught up relatively quickly by the patchouli and then it fizzles out bit by bit. At least that's how it is on my skin.

Nevertheless, Pistachio is definitely worth a test.

Singular and engaging

Pistachio! A complex and layered nut given full attention to detail. It's a gourmand without being pastry sweet or drippy honey. Obviously nutty, and subtly green, dry without being powdery. This really is a fun exploration of something that's usually used for one note. Will probably be great for layering because this isn't overbearing in the slightest.
