Synthetic apple cinnamon
I was a bit surprised at first to find that the apple note, or what I assume is the apple note, came across to me as a bit orange juice like as well despite it having no orange notes. I had bought this along with Mulled Cider, another scent from this brand with very similar notes. And while Mulled Cider was cinnamon heavy, this one was much more fruit heavy. I'm not really sure how to feel about it. At first I was a bit disappointed, but it's certainly growing on me. It's synthetic for sure, but if you don't mind that, then I feel like this smells a lot like store bought apple cider.

Overall, I can see someone enjoying this if they're okay with more synthetic smells!

Incredibly spicy-warm, authentic scent for Christmas lovers
What can I say about it?
"Pomander" was not a term I was familiar with before this fragrance.

Of course, I know the pre-Christmas tradition of studding oranges & apples with cloves to create a cozy atmosphere.

Of course is also my keyword. I have rarely smelled such an authentic and 0 synthetic fragrance composition in a perfume.

It even went so far that I went to my well-stocked spice rack to verify the authenticity.

But let's take it step by step.

I got a 5 ml test spray from Demeter / The Library of Fragrance.
I will do this more often in the future to save myself from durability flops like with "Almond".

That was a good investment of 5 euros. Soon, the larger bottle will follow, especially considering the upcoming cool and cold seasons.

When you apply the fragrance, it feels like you are grinding your spices for Christmas red cabbage.
Cinnamon, allspice, a hint of nutmeg, but ABOVE ALL, clove wafts into your nose.

And not in the slightest bit restrained.

"Pomander" goes all out right away and remains consistent for several hours.
A hint of fruity apple also joins in.
The amber note mentioned in the fragrance pyramid only becomes noticeable to me as the scent fades.

The best thing about this fragrance: It is both a scent that can create a wonderful, realistic Christmas atmosphere in the home but is also quite wearable for open-minded people.
I am fortunate to work in an office where my colleagues enjoy analyzing, testing, and showing interest in my fragrances. In short, they are open to new scents.

Therefore, "Pomander" will definitely be tried out in the office.
In my circle of friends, people are already enthusiastic about the natural charm of this EdC.

Anyone who is not interested in this type of spice combination, does not like red cabbage, or generally does not want to smell like a spiced apple should steer clear of this.

Everyone else should give this little unknown a chance.

The sillage is fantastic; a spritz is completely sufficient. It lasts for several hours, becoming milder and warmer over time.

If you don't like it as a perfume, you still have a wonderful room fragrance for the holidays.

Well done, Demeter/TLOF. THIS is how an authentic scent should be.

H/S crazy for Demeter standards. Very oily, be careful with clothes. Smells a bit like Big Red gum but awesome! Spicy & sweet.

More of a scent than a perfume. Baked apple, cinnamon, Christmas spices. Reminds me somewhat of Organza Indécence, but without the perfumy aura.
