Dark Matter
Roses can have sooo many colors. From the most transparent "apricot" to "vivid yellow",
from slightly greenish to velvet red.
But this rose here is dark purple, almost shimmering blue. Only "brightened" by a splash of saffron and a pinch of incense.
The majority of this fragrance is not characterized by the scent of oud, but by the wonderfully bitter sandalwood.
This gives the overall scent the impression that dark, fine sand flows through it.
And the roses "seem" to be seen through blue-black cellophane.
Like "dark matter" in space, which science still cannot explain precisely today.
Here, the scent seems to be "heavier" than it actually is.
The "sweetness" is not it, "Saffron Rose" has hardly any.
"It can't be the oud either, as it comes across as rather "light"
Only the composition of the fragrance notes and their ratio to each other could explain this.
