Disappointed...
A few weeks ago, I discovered Demeter and spontaneously wanted to buy half of the range. Now this is my first scent, as I found it on eBay...
And unfortunately, I have to say that I am really disappointed.
It doesn’t smell green to me at all, and where is the metal?
Freshly sprayed, it smells "perfumy," the rose to me is a synthetic yellow one, my friend even says it smells like lemon. It doesn’t smell citrusy to me directly, but I can somehow understand the impression.
It does remind me of roses, a mix of the scent when you smell it directly (so not the scent of rose water or oil, which you usually have in perfume), but it feels synthetic and reminds me a bit of hairspray.
After about half a day, it smells a bit more natural to my taste, the rose is clearer to me, but still somewhat synthetic, the metallic aspect remains hidden, but I can faintly smell a few bitter leaves. Overall, it’s too sweet for my taste...
All in all: What a pity, luckily I didn’t buy the scent at full price.
However, I can imagine that it might appeal to someone who doesn’t expect it to smell like the description.
This is definitely a completely wearable scent!
