Under the Sky of Capri
For men? What do you mean, for men? I tested it and loved it... for me!

It’s a very fresh fragrance with citrus and fig notes, complemented by a lovely spicy and woody touch that adds depth. As someone who's been crazy about fig lately, I'm not surprised I liked it. I think it should be considered completely unisex.

As for the bottle, it's simply gorgeous !

Light Blue pour Homme Capri in Love
The recent releases—Forever and Italian Love—were some of my favorites. They stood out with their raw grapefruit-dominant scent and distinct summer vibes. But Summer Vibes felt forgettable, and I gradually lost interest in the line.

Now, I decided to give it another shot. The opening was peppery, and I was about to pass on it—but I kept smelling, and it went through an interesting development. It started to turn sweeter, and then I got a fruity vibe that really threw me off because I never associated this line with fruity notes.

The fig note here isn’t exactly like Philosykos. It’s more focused on the fruit rather than the leafy green aspects. I'd say maybe 25% of it is rounded out with patchouli, giving it some depth. It’s not your typical green fig scent—it leans more toward the juicy, ripe fig side.

I think I’m picking up some woods in the base, and maybe just a hint of something aquatic—not salty or seaweedy, just a touch of freshness. But if you're looking for a true aquatic, this won’t quite hit that mark.

After the opening, it stays pretty linear. I don’t think this one is as divisive as Forever or Italian Love—the scent is smooth, not overly citrusy, with a pleasant sweetness that feels natural. The performance is decent—it lingers, which is about what you'd expect for a scent like this.

It’s definitely geared toward spring and summer, but honestly, you could wear it year-round in casual settings—even in the office. It could work as a standalone scent. It’s quite different from the original Light Blue, and I really like how it deviates from the usual direction of the line. It also stands apart from the other flankers, and for me, it’s absolutely worth a test—and even a full bottle.

Capri figs
Light Blue pour Homme Capri in Love is a striking 2025 addition to the celebrated Light Blue fragrance collection, yet it markedly departs from the series’ traditional compositions.
This scent conjures an aromatic vista of the renowned Capri island, blending the lush sweetness of fig, the fiery zest of pepper, and the profound richness of patchouli in a luxurious, unconventional harmony. Far from being a mere extension of the Light Blue lineage, it stands as an independent olfactory realm, united only by its name. The essence of the fragrance is the vibrant, sun-kissed fig, redolent of Italy’s coastal shores. This natural, sumptuous sweetness defines the fragrance’s character, setting it apart as truly distinctive.
• Performance exceeds average, with notable longevity on the skin and strong sillage.
• It is perfectly suited for spring and summer, especially during mild evening occasions.

The bottle echoes the elegant, rectangular silhouette of the classic series, but is adorned with a traditional blue-and-white Majolica pattern, transforming it into a masterpiece that embodies Italy’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.

Marc, is that you?
Off we go, the bottle is nicely known. At least I think so. The sprayer is normal. The back of my hand is damp, a quick wave and under the nose. Pleasant, citrusy, lightly rising into the olfactory organs. WAIT, I know you. Waved, smelled, and here we go again.

On my skin, slightly peppery with a hint of fig. Very fresh and fruity, perfectly matching the bottle.

I know the DNA, I actually know the scent too. It's not Eros Flame. A JPG flanker? Nope, not at all. It was a while ago. Smelled it again and there it was.
It smells on my skin like 2010. It smells like summer. It smells like Marc Jacobs BangBang in the most awkward bottle at that time.

Anyone missing this scent will be happy here.
It’s definitely coming with me on sale.

Fresh-Spicy-Maritime with Fig
Pretty much every year, a new flanker is added to this Light Blue line. Often very close to the original and sometimes quite insignificant. What can this new Capri in Love offer? I have a sample here and have sprayed this new flanker a few times. My verdict is not bad, but this release doesn't really blow me away. It is definitely different from the previous flankers, as a new DNA is being introduced here. It slightly reminds me of the Kenzo Homme line with its somewhat darker, angular spice and sharp note. This Capri in Love is not as "smooth" as usual, which makes it a bit more edgy. I like this flanker, but I wouldn't buy it as I believe there have been significantly better ones in this direction before. Nevertheless, a short review of this quite decent flanker that is quite pleasant to wear.

I find the MSRP of €99 and €135 for 50 and 100ml respectively to be excessive. I would consider half the price to be reasonable. Designer releases are not as appealing to me anymore, at least many of them. For smaller prices, there is definitely something to be done, but the MSRPs are currently always heading towards niche. There, you can certainly find better options. The bottle with this pattern, on the other hand, is totally pretty and summery. I would like it if this were in my collection.
The scent is quite maritime and well-balanced with freshness, spice, aquatic notes, and also a wonderful fig note. D&G has only listed 3 fragrance notes here. Whether that is true is debatable. However, these 3 notes describe this scent quite well. Only fresh and aquatic notes are missing to complete this pyramid. This fragrance is fresh from the start with a pleasant maritime freshness. I perceive this freshness as aquatic and slightly salty, with a bit of citrus as well. Only black pepper in the top note? Of course not, but this peppery spice is present and provides a great start. The summery fig also comes through nicely and contributes to that Capri feeling. The fig is very summery and juicy and works really well here. Additionally, there is a masculine patchouli note that rounds off the creation nicely and adds some edges. Soft woody notes also come through in the base. Overall, this fragrance becomes softer and more appealing over time. It is easy to wear and still stands out a bit from other summer styles. I like it and it definitely comes across as likable.
Performance is in the medium range. It works well for summer leisure, but for everyday wear without reapplying, it wouldn't be the best choice like most in this series. 6-7 hours of longevity, with the latter hours being more skin-close.

Overall, a decent release that doesn't particularly impress me for this price. I find it very wearable, although the performance is only in the medium range. Thus, for me, it is not a candidate for purchase at this price. However, there is definitely charm in this release.

Pepper/woody/airy on strip, seems to be one of the better flankers of Light Blue. I’m looking forward to testing further

These 3 notes gymmicks aren't very genious, but the problem is that they aren't smell like those 3 notes...pure fiction of a smell.

Tried this in store. Surprised it was different than previous flankers. To my surprise more woody than marine. Like it a lot.

Light Blue, but with spiced sweetness and patchouli instead of citrus and musk in the forefront. Fig lovers can find better.

Pretty much the first flanker to truly disappoint. Very scratchy, peppery DNA with outdated character. Zero effort

Wow, someone is trying to grow up here… Creamy fig carried by patchouli - woody, warm, slightly green-earthy. Surprise successful!

Very interesting fresh-spicy creation with a hint of aquatic & fig. A bit more creative & special for this line. I like it. S/H is okay.

Nice, but it doesn't resonate with me.
