A Quick Visit to Paris
Unfortunately, I only know Paris from layovers - and I just fell tiredly into bed there.
So I can only praise the Parisian hotels that always provided me with a comfortable roof over my head.
But I haven't experienced the savoir vivre.
I imagine Paris to be very romantic and picturesque.
So I wanted to travel with Eisenberg Back to Paris.
I expected dim Bohemian charm and the cozy atmosphere of a garret, just like I found in rouge et noir.
Something oh la la and très chic.
But Back to Paris could lead to any other city - to a well-kept hotel.
The scent's statement is calm, clear - but nonspecific.
Fresh bergamot is made aquatic by the mandarin - and the rhubarb note fits in nicely.
Floral, softly powdered by iris and violet.
A hint of vanilla floats above it - and there’s nothing to complain about.
You won't offend anyone with this.
But the Paris of my imagination does not come to life before my eyes.
No musette music - no dance sous le ciel de Paris.
I miss a piece of atmosphere in Back to Paris - which I fortunately found in rouge et noir.
