Devil or angel?
I must confess that , the moment I tested this fragrance, I was expecting a very deep or intoxicating scent and a sense of trouble in mind , but it wasn't really so.
There was, it's true, the cardamom spicy touch, but the opening was dominated by a very fresh, "happy" and bright mandarin note, then I smelled the more sensual and feminin heart, where a warm jasmin is associated to the powdery touch of the iris, the vibrant violet and the deep accent given by a quite masculin cedarwood.
The only "diabolic" and sensual notes are in the base, where a soft acchord of benzoin , musk and a touch of sandalwood gives that lightly oriental touch to this fragrance not so diabolic because quite evanescent and with a not so strong sillage.
So, for more than 100€ for a 100ml size, you have a quite innocent scent which could be worn by day too because relatively inoffensive and not so "sexy"or "dangerous".
Anyway, a very pleasant acchord , classy and feminin, but if you're looking for the devil, maybe you wrong the address!

Shooting star
Short opinion:
The absolute winner of the ‘soapy fragrances’ category.

Deeper thoughts:
Eisenberg is a totally new brand to me, and seems to be quite unpopular, the reason of that is the high price of Eisenberg scents. However the stuff looks interesting, I never dared to order a bottle, because the community reviews and the prices were not matchy.

Few days ago I found a bundle of three Eisenberg perfumes (J’ose, Le Péché, Diabolique) for bucks, and I am very surprised.

Nice box, beautiful bottle, and an artistic soapy/powdery scent. Wonderful like a fairytale.

Shines and flies away like a shooting star.

Because of the poor longevity and weak sillage not worth it’s retail price, but very very good.

Diabolo
Once again a test in the Eisenberg corner.

Diabolique?
Would hellish sulfur fumes surround me?
No - not at all.

I am reminded of the harmless toy Diabolo that my grandpa once gifted me.
The goal was to roll a colorful spool back and forth on a string stretched between two wooden sticks.
A nice little game, if you could master it as virtuously as my grandpa - but I always dropped the spool with a dull "plop" at my feet.
I admired my grandfather for his skillful play, but I set the Diabolo aside in disappointment.

And I feel the same way about the fragrance.
It is neither wicked nor dangerous - but it also doesn't want to play with me.

Aquatic mandarin, spiced with cardamom, accompanied by bright jasmine, darkened by iris.
I can also perceive woody notes - but overall everything feels very timid and indecisive.

I stand perplexed before the fragrance, just as I did in front of the toy.
Diabolique doesn't disturb me, but it doesn't appeal to me either.

Maybe it can shine on others?

A Pinch of Cardamom Doesn't Make a Devil
Of course, I had imagined something cheeky, wicked, or simply extraordinary with a fragrance bearing such a diabolical name. However, Diabolique turns out to be a rather flat, synthetically inclined bore.
If it weren't for this pinch of cardamom, which must feel quite lost among the floral notes, it would be the infamous 0815 fragrance.
Diabolique has hardly any volume, no supporting base. I certainly don't notice one. There isn't even a red thread that harmoniously weaves the cardamom into the progression. The spice note feels forced to me, and thus the perfume comes across as quite unfinished.

The sillage is weak, the longevity is at best mediocre, even the falcon is tame, and the scent is far too plain to meet the expectations that the name evokes.

The devil is sometimes a squirrel after all...
~ Inspiration ~
I was not familiar with either the brand or the perfume. I received it as a bonus at a souk. Probably a niche fragrance (as I see only one person here owns it).

~ Bottle ~
Square and unremarkable with a thick glass rim. The brand name is placed on a golden background on the bottle neck and "Diabolique" is prominently displayed on the front. I had imagined something a bit more sophisticated and devilish under the name.

~ Scent ~
When I first sprayed it, I thought I had picked up a men's sample, which must be due to the spicy cardamom. Overall, the scent is woody and bitter. I can barely detect the violets, which are completely overshadowed by dry cedar and sandalwood, benzoin, musk, and vetiver.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours (a bit longer on clothing and hair). A sparing application is advisable, as otherwise the scent scratches the throat.

~ Occasion ~
It is most suitable for spring or autumn. It is quite strong at first, but it weakens fairly quickly. I find the scent to be quite unisex-compatible.

~ Conclusion ~
So it's not my fragrance direction. It is too spicy and bitter for me.

The base is warm and the heart is very feminin and pleasant, but I don't find so "diabolic" this scent. Anyway good.I like it.

In this beautiful powdery scent, softly murmured spicy notes blend together. I can also smell cinnamon. Delicious. But unfortunately, it’s too powdery for me in the long run.

Devilish apparition?
More like a fish fart.
Vague, bland, and increasingly annoying.
A powdery disaster that clings to fruits.

Impulse buy - I like it. Fresh mandarin + cardamom at the start, then the dry iris takes over. Fades quickly, but still suitable for summer.

Definitely a worthwhile iris scent among the turquoise ones. Unisex fits. H+S are fine. Nice everyday fragrance.

Today I tried the new variant, citrusy start, mint lingers for 1 1/2 hours, spicy-green, then just a close-to-skin finish.

Beautifully powdery Clean Girl scent. For me, there's nothing devilish about it, and the top note could last longer since I find it the most beautiful.

At first, there's sandalwood, musk, and a hint of cardamom. Then comes the mandarin and iris, settling into a floral bouquet.

...I'd rather spray myself with wheat beer... Alcohol that hits hard. Cardamom eats away at my mucous membranes; aggressive soap lingers.
