The best short lived fling

I can look past a poor performance if the scent is that good. And Love Affair is that good. A sexy powdery, little bit musky jasmine and sandalwood bomb with almond. Soft, bright, it just makes me happy when i smell it, perfect cuddle scent. I feel like this is very good Prada L'homme alternative but without the iris, it just givesm me the same vibe. If you got bored of L'homme or wanna try something different even tho it's more feminine leaning i 100% recommend it. As said, this could easily be worn by anyone, very unisex in my opinion. I just wish it wouldn't be this weak but it is what it is.

Love affair or very short flirt?

I've tested and re-tested many times this scent in either versions: feminine and masculine*(* you recognize it by the fumé bottle) , but my impression is that these very expensive and deluxe creations by Eisenberg are very light, evanescent and quite disappointing.
However, I'll try to describe the sensations I felt smelling this fragrance.
First of all, i perceived the fruity-flowery opening, light but pleasant , then a very feminin triad of rose, heliotrope and a soft Jasmine.Finally, a light and just suggested sandalwood-musk base, at least perceivable and not longlasting on my skin. No trace of the tobacco Smoky note I see right now in the pyramid!
The sillage is relatively weak in comparison with the very high price of this fragrance.
I think that what you pay (and I mean more than 100€ and sometimes 150€ for a 100ml size!) is the refined squared bottle , typical of all the collection signed Eisenberg.
So, where's this "love affair"? with this name I imagined something stronger, deeper and more longlasting, rich and charming. This one could be nothing more than a very short flirt! Sorry, but I don'r recommend this fragrance. If you aren't an Eisenberg's fan, don't waste your money for a so evanescent scent without character.

Decent Affair

Since I like rouge & noir, I gladly dedicate my attention to Eisenberg's fragrances.

And of course, the romantic name, Love Affair, catches my eye.

Here, hopefully, we will indulge in passionate feelings!

Unfortunately - no.

At the start, there's an ice-cold shot that doesn't warm the heart.
At most, it warms the hands and feet.
At least.
But it remains just a "courtesy drink" - it doesn't get lively.
The white flowers are pleasant - but also maintain a strange distance.
Heliotrope and rose present a cool elegance.
Jasmine subtly joins from afar, serving only as a background.
Sandalwood adds a slight spiciness - but doesn't embrace.
Overall, I miss any embracing intentions in this scent.

A very decent affair, sitting upright on the edge of the sofa, with the chaperone in the middle.
Even smoking has been prohibited, as I can't detect any tobacco.

Not a bad or bothersome scent - but not worth any "sin."

Am I in the right place?

I would like to review "Love affair woman," there is also a "Love affair" in a dark bottle for the "homme," but that is not the one I mean.

So, I was once again looking for a new fragrance and took a look around the Eisenberg corner.

I tested several and this one has pleased me the most so far.

I cannot, like my predecessors, say that this fragrance is a mild breeze, not at all.

It is different, and that’s why I decided to get it.

Upon the first spray, it is extremely alcoholic, almost biting, and I feel like I have pure salt on my skin. This saltiness remains dominant alongside the tiny berries and the light musk.

After the first few minutes, it develops very extravagantly on me, becoming powdery but not sweet, it becomes beautiful, it becomes white, it becomes closer to the skin, yet it still stands out.

I can recognize a similarity to Lacoste pour femme, but it does not have the overly feminine note that Lacoste has, which I ultimately do not like.

Yes, I can agree with the association of feeling freshly showered, also a laundry and clean scent, which I like.

It’s like a white blouse that I wear, which is very feminine and attractive, of noble quality, and subtly emphasizes my femininity in a seductive way.

A signature scent? Rather no, a feel-good scent? Yes.

An affair?

If so, then a delicate, loving romantic affair without any major dramas.

If someone is looking for lacquer and leather and wickedness, a mad love, they are in the wrong corner with this fragrance; for that, there is my Coromandel or for others, the black Habanita (which I do not like at all).

I see a similarity to a room fragrance from Butlers, Vanilla Moments, which I have and really like, even though vanilla is not listed in the ingredients.

I also see a similarity to the creamy Nuovole from Zeromolecue, except that here the synthetic note does not stand out, which has remained with me in Nuovole, which I also find good.

Sillage is good, longevity is 4 to 5 hours maximum, which is also okay for this fragrance.

The scent is perfect for being present, exuding a pleasant aura, but still rather delicate and unobtrusive, a day when I do not want to be in the foreground but still need a feel-good aura.

For me, the fragrance is then perfect,

C'est la vie, Monsieur Eisenberg, grand Parfum!

My Current Favorite

What a great scent. Completely underestimated.
So beautiful how the components harmonize with each other. It is primarily powdery-floral, but also a bit creamy, then combined with a touch of freshness from the currants and the soft gentle white musk with a hint of woody spice. It feels light, clear, somewhat synthetic (but pleasantly synthetic), a little sweet. It fits wonderfully with a cold clear winter day. It is also quite transparent and not very masculine. The longevity leaves something to be desired, although perhaps the overly quick acclimatization of the nose to pleasant scents can play a deceptive role here. But that's OK. Better than stuff that you can't get rid of at all.
I think it's a great creation. A buddy was also quite enthusiastic about it.
