Who am I...
... and if so - how many?

This is the title of a book by Precht.

This question also crosses my mind while testing I am.

The fragrance is not a firmly established statement - but pleasantly accommodating.
This trait is very familiar to me - for I am not a hardliner either.
Moreover, I often surprise myself with unexpected personalities that seem to slumber within me.

But according to Precht, this is normal, and by no means pathological.
No, it is much more interesting, and should be allowed.

And so is the fragrance.
It sparks interest, but also allows for idiosyncrasies.
Sympathetically casual - but not careless.

The sweet raspberry, spiced with black pepper, is bold - yet harmonious.
Delicate and fragile, the magnolia joins in - grounded by solid vetiver.
Amber and sandalwood embrace trustfully, providing comfort.

All these attributes appeal to me, and I also find them within myself.

It's nice that I am does not unnecessarily commit itself, but maintains openness - without being fickle.

As the people from Cologne say? Every fool is different.

And so is oneself.

Fountain of Good Mood
I could hardly wait to get the fragrance from a swap game. When it finally arrived, I spritzed myself generously with it. And lo and behold, it really spread good vibes, even though it comes across as quite sweet. Nevertheless, I find it very wearable. During the day. Not at night. On a fresh spring day or a summer morning. Definitely not in winter or autumn. It lacks the heaviness and staying power for that. The scent doesn’t last long on the skin and doesn’t weave through the rooms either.

Like a marble, I truly perceive the scent as reminiscent of fizzy powder (Ahoi) and it reminds me of a candy from my childhood, though I can’t remember what it was called. I don’t find that off-putting at all; rather, I feel like I’ve capitulated to the past. Definitely, that candy is no longer available today, like so many things from my time :( Sob.

However, it is only like that at first; then it seems to me that the scent completely sinks into the background and a really strong scent of pepper spreads out. It becomes spicier, the sweetness recedes a little, but is still perceptible. However, the scent doesn’t stay around for long, which I find good, because this not-so-successful interplay between sweet and spicy just doesn’t suit this Eisenberg at all. It then develops back into sweetness, where a really beautiful amber is also perceptible. Mhm, at this point, it is really quite delicious. A flower comes into play, but which one it really is, I cannot say for the life of me. I don’t perceive a hint of powder here at all, looking at the classification below. Not even a little. For me, it is sweet, slightly floral, then towards the end, and it also has a freshness to it. I think the freshness keeps the perfume alive. Without that freshness, the perfume would come across as completely cloyingly sweet. It brightens the mood in the pyramid, so to speak.
I find the scent pleasant. But nothing more. It’s not a perfume that makes you go wow when you get a whiff of it. Nevertheless, it does well when it comes to spreading good mood, as it doesn’t seem to disturb anyone. My boyfriend also said it’s totally fine and has a very youthful vibe. It’s a young perfume, after all. Mature women should probably steer clear of this, as they are certainly too strong for such little characters :D

I only use it in everyday life. When I go out or even at work, as it doesn’t engulf everything around me. That’s a good thing. I feel good, and my mood doesn’t drop because of it.

A fountain of good mood.
A small one.

After all :)

Fizz Powder
This morning I found myself once again in front of "the closet" and wondered what should I wear, oh no I have nothing to wear (the usual representatives just didn't appeal to me)
Then this Eisenberg sample rolled towards me (uh, who is that?) Whatever, curiosity killed the dog.
Against my usual behavior, I sprayed what the sample offered.
And...
Wow, fizz powder, the kind of stick that my daughter likes so much.
And no, no... pencil!
The fizz powder explains the raspberry and orange.
But what gives this scent of pencil? I already had that with Omnia Coral by Bvlgari.
For a moment I think I also perceive the pepper but it doesn't even say "Hello" properly.
Otherwise, it blooms briefly there, only to dive into the musk/amber base.
And then... gone
Longevity max. 2 hours, fits well with fizz powder: a short tingle and then gone.
So I’ll give the fizz powder another try.
What a pity, what a pity.
Well, at least I won't overwhelm anyone olfactorily at work;)

Bright, well-groomed, clean
During my last shopping trip at the perfume store, I received a sample of I am:

I am starts off fresh, bright, clean and is the complete opposite of heavy sweetness.
I can't pinpoint exact fragrance notes, but after two hours I perceive a vanilla creaminess that blends very well with my skin. Generally, the scent can only be detected after two to three hours if you hold your nose directly to your wrist.

I could imagine this fragrance as an everyday scent and think that it is very suitable for wearing during the day at work or university. You definitely won't risk bothering those around you.

All in all, I am is a lovely fragrance that makes you feel well-groomed and subtly pleasant. However, the longevity in relation to the price simply doesn't convince me. And this crucial point speaks against a purchase for me.

Peppered Fruit with Flowers
This is my first comment on Parfumo and I wanted to dedicate it to a fragrance that I consider very special. A few months ago, my perfume addiction struck again and I was looking for a fragrance for myself that not everyone has in their collection and that differs from my previous perfumes.
It should be an everyday fragrance that smells elegant, is not too intrusive, and does not fall into the category of "oriental, sweet, or heavy".
After testing in the perfumery, I chose Eisenberg "I am".
I immediately fell in love with this perfume, as it wonderfully combines floral and fruity accords, and the pepper adds the right spice, like in a good meal.
This could have been the perfect fragrance for me if it weren't for the issue with longevity. Unfortunately, it fades on me after barely 2-3 hours or is only perceptible to me, but not to others, unless they sniff directly on my skin. Such a pity, but I do not regret the purchase.

An aromatic raspberry opening is followed by pepper and floral-powdery notes. Finally, it becomes creamy-sweet. A quite pleasant fragrance.

Initially woody notes and rose, in the drydown amber is dominant, but the refreshing freshness of magnolia remains. A feel-good scent for every occasion.

Unfortunately, it smells like cold, stale coffee to me.
We won't be friends.

Raspberry, magnolia, peppered on a subtly sweet base. Very delicious. H+S is long-lasting and pronounced. Good mood + spring guaranteed.

Warm, sweet, playful, yet grown-up, a bit sexy.. multifaceted & sunny. Different. I think: underrated!

Raspberry - not a young fruit, but maturely interpreted and thoughtfully combined with spices. Good scent, just a bit too fruity for me.

Wonderful scent, floral, peppery, extraordinary, exciting, and definitely unisex for me. Unfortunately, the longevity is poor.
