JasminRose versus Gürtelrose
Gürtelrose is now the new Corona. While we were bombarded with information about Corona day and night over the past few years, the same is now happening with Gürtelrose. I turn on the radio in the morning and a voice says: "From a certain age...................get vaccinated against Gürtelrose!" I read a text online and it pops up: "Get vaccinated against Gürtelrose in time!"
What is the universe trying to tell me? Should I look in the mirror every morning to see if little spots are forming into a belt around my hips or a leg or a wrist? Should I get vaccinated? Should I go to a psychiatrist and get a sick note because I can't bear the fear of Gürtelrose?! Gürtelrose is also contagious, but only the fluid in the blisters. So no mask - that's something. When the belt closes, I'm dead.
I have chosen JasminRose over Gürtelrose! For the former, I don't need to get vaccinated. It smells good and is from Eisenberg - which somehow sounds like the pharmaceutical industry, but it isn't. Eisenberg is actually Josef Eisenberg, whose family lost everything in Romania because all their belongings were confiscated by the new regime. He comes to Italy, works here and there, and soon opens a fashion design studio and his own factory. He ventures into fashion, invests in the tech sector, and in 1985 he discovered the beauty industry for himself and has been producing cosmetics ever since. Additionally, Josef Eisenberg is one of the largest art collectors in the world.
Les Orientaux Latins is a series of oriental fragrances, there are 6 and each holds a secret. Jardin des Sens is a wonderful JasminRose scent. It starts sweet and fruity; I can't really pinpoint a specific fruit, but peach-plum fits quite well. I perceive rose and jasmine as equally strong, which I find very pleasant. And that defines the fragrance for me. This JasminRose is wonderfully spiced with tonka and vanilla. The scent is creamy for me and not cloying. Patchouli is perfectly used, and I find amber adds a touch of coolness. Many say amber makes the scent warm. Yes, the scent has something cozy about it, but also something cool. Lilienfeld writes: like Mon Guerlain but without lavender, which I find very well described. And to touch on the coolness I mentioned again. As an example, I want to take an ice candy. An ice candy is not cold, but it gives a slight feeling of coolness in the mouth. And I feel the same way about this fragrance - of course without the ice candy aroma. In the end, it is for me a creamy JasminRose on a musk fluff.
The bottles are very pretty. They feel almost like cognac snifters. The sprayer releases a wonderful mist, and the key on each bottle is meant to emphasize the significance of the secret, which I find beautifully done, very high-quality. Not a cheap metal key, but unbendable metal. The initials of Josef Eisenberg are engraved on the upper part of the cap. The man knows how to present things, and the packaging is also sturdy and attractive.
If I had to name a fragrance that is similar to this, La Petite Robe Noir Nectar comes to mind.
