This is a mess.
The initial blast was so alcohol-laden that I gagged. I fought everything in me to wipe this off, despite wanting to, because I knew it would dissipate, but even after drying, for a little while it still smelled very aldehyde-acrid, like lemon alcohol in an unpleasant way.
It did get sweeter, but I wouldn't say that made it better. It gives the impression of sweet sap, with sawdust on the back end. I guess that's the "leather," but I''m not getting leather; that note goes rather warmer and woodier. The reviewer below isn't wrong. This fragrance is a journey where you pass through the cleaning section of lowes where someone spilled rubbing alcohol and lemon pledge, and you finally get to the wood section. The pine lumber you pick up leaves sap on your hands. The sap is sweet.
It's unfortunate that the latter half of this perfume is decent, because the first half kills it for me, personally. Sillage is near; longevity is nonexistent really.
