Once Tried the Chemistry Set
Boss fragrances are often said to be artificial. Yes, I see it that way too. However, compared to the Apparitions, they are pure nature. Apparition Orange is the most artificial scent I know on the market. Primarily, it smells sweet - it's hard to describe because there are no associations with natural raw materials. I don't smell orange; it vaguely reminds me of Dunhill Desire for Men (the Rte), but it's difficult for me to pin down this scent more concretely.
Core problem: it simply smells unappealing. Why would I want to smell like chemistry and a doctor's office? While Escada's Magnetism at least still has an interesting and pleasant scent, this one just triggers a wash-off reflex. No thanks.
