A very terrestrial laundry scent
I absolutely love this bottle, and the notes list sounds right up my alley, too. So it was a no-brainer for me to get a decant, even though I never found any of Ungaro fragrances I tried at the drugstore randomly particularly interesting.

This one is... Fine. But nothing more. The notes I smell the most out of the long list are mango, white musk and almond, in this order. It's a bit of a sour mango, maybe because it's combined with citruses and blackcurrant. Unfortunately I prefer mango fragrances that smell ripe and sweet. Then there are heaps and heaps of laundry musk in this, which give the fragrance a sharp, detergent-like edge that I don't enjoy. Almond, and to a lesser extent tonka and vanilla, is the saving grace for the scent. It adds warmth, creaminess and sweetness.
The florals are completely missing in action, and the bellini note, which I was most interested in, is only detectable if you know it's supposed to be there. I wish it had more of a peachy note.

All in all this is summery and fruity, but way too artificially clean for me. It reminds me of Paco Rabanne fame in a way, that one smells like mango with laundry detergent, too. But Fame is a little less abrasive. Now don't get me wrong, Cosmic isn't awful, just unexciting and a bit too harsh. I don't see how it could fit the space theme or the cute saturn bottle, it's so far from an otherworldly scent. It's something we smell very often on this earth.

The earth says Hello
Recently, I was browsing through the online perfume retailers, completely aimlessly.

Then my eyes caught a glimpse of a beautiful planet bottle, adorned with the label "Offer."

The price was truly astonishingly good, and if I didn't like the scent, the pretty bottle would still serve as a nice decorative piece.

And today, the bottle arrived in my universe.
Was it even our Mother Earth? Or is it Saturn?

The first spray beamed me into different orbits, past other stars, back to my hometown.
What a lovely journey!

Fruity and floral notes envelop me, led by a juicy mango, dipped in vanilla and caramel.
The lemon is lively, sandalwood creamy, and the iris grounds the galactic scent even more.
Moreover, I find myself in a flower meadow.

I think of the song: Good Morning Starshine, the earth says Hello, and reflect on what a beautiful planet Earth is.

Peach, Orange, and Mango Sorbet / Tastier than Initially Thought
Since I am relatively new to Profumo and have been visiting the site quite often lately, Google also offered me the corresponding ads, including the new fragrance "Cosmic" by Emanuel Ungaro. It was actually love at first sight when I saw the incredibly beautiful, futuristic bottle. As a sci-fi fan (cosmic greetings to all Asimov, Clarke, and Heinlein fans out there), I couldn't resist the purchase, especially since the fragrance was on sale and I also received a large bottle of body lotion (also by Emanuel Ungaro) as a gift.
With the fragrance notes listed in the description, I thought there was nothing that could go wrong. I was most excited about almond, mango, and orange (sounds so delicious) and Bellini (I love Bellini).
And now I must apologize to "Cosmic," as my original review was rather negative and is thus being corrected here. As mentioned, the bottle is just as beautiful and high-quality as I imagined. The scent initially disappointed me, which is why I compared it to a ready-made cocktail from the supermarket, but now I must admit that the judgment was too hasty. In retrospect, I have to concede that on the day I received the order, the fragrance did not work on my skin at all, and I gave up on it too quickly. Since the perfume was created by Jérôme Epinette (who was responsible for one of the most iconic perfumes of our time - "Bal d'Afrique" by Byredo), I had to give it another chance. After a few days, I tested "Cosmic" again on both skin and clothing and found that it performed significantly better this time. On the skin, it lasted a solid 4 hours, and the next day it was still quite noticeable on the clothing. Admittedly, it is not a creation of haute cuisine that I had imagined based on the description; it is more like a sundae with peach, orange, and mango sorbet topped with almond shavings from an Italian ice cream shop on the corner, providing refreshment and good cheer in the summer. I still perceive the pink pepper note only slightly, which I find quite good, as the pepper should not overpower the fruity notes.
Best served with a dollop of cream. Cheers!

Perfect summer perfume, full of fruits. I could swear I detect and coco milk.

Fruity-lemony-gourmand at first, later a vague vanilla base. After a nice start, it fades.
The bottle doesn't match the scent.

All sorts…fruity, floral, powdery, woody, and above all!!! synthetic notes that have simply been “cooked” into a tasteless mush.

A bit of Solero ice cream, a bit of Viss citrus, a bit of Sidolin, a bit of Dr. Oetker vanilla. Okay, 2 packets of vanilla.

Delicate, everyday-friendly, fruity scent (mango/citrus) wrapped in a creamy tonka/almond combo. Violet is also noticeable.

Vintage yet modern. Soapy, fruity, fresh. Mango dominates.

Very pleasant, fruity, floral scent. Sillage and longevity are average. A daily fragrance that you can't go wrong with. Definitely worth a try.

Nice everyday scent - P/L quite okay. Fruits/pepper?? Not definable. For me, way too weak (performance benchmark is high)

As a man, I would buy the perfume just for the bottle... It doesn't matter how the perfume smells.
