MY fruity-fresh-sweet summer perfume from back then... :)
So my dears!
Since yesterday, I am registered here... I am really excited to be here and have already received so many lovely welcome messages and greetings... thank you so much for that :)
So, my first comment... by the way, I have been reading all your wonderful comments, scent evaluations, and reviews for months and I just feel at home among my kind (also all perfume crazy ;) yes, it should only stay at 15 in the collection haha) and accordingly comfortable... I just wanted to say that!
Tropical Punch by Escada: Yes, it was my absolute dream summer scent in 2001... that's how I felt back then... light, carefree, happy... during the semester break, spending time with friends doing sports (um, yes, I should really get back to that), we were out in beer gardens and generally out and about celebrating... yes, and during that time, the scent accompanied me... I can't really say how the top, heart, and base notes smelled or how they were present on me... I have it (probably idealized over the years a bit) as wonderfully fruity, sweet but also with a certain freshness in memory... yes, all the listed fruits etc., that are mentioned, were definitely noticeable...
...so actually a summer scent (but it has to be really hot and preferably for more than just 5 days in a row... does that still exist in Germany nowadays? A little provocative side question ;) like from my dreams... wonderfully exotic!
I can still remember how often I was asked about it... hmm you smell so good, what is that? Hmmm delicious, what scent is that... etc. went down like oil ;)
I really felt delicious and fragrant... and oh yes... I could still smell good after hours, not just others smelling me... that's important to me, right?! And: I believe there wasn't a great development, it basically remained relatively the same as it was, well the whole fruity sweetness faded a bit over the hours, but gradually... more in the background... a dream... for me... back then...
However, my best friend at the time also thought this scent was great...
I must say, I find it admirable how many here write that they have inspired their friends to buy the same perfume, etc. I also wish it for everyone when I like a perfume... well, NOT EVERYONE ;) but I don’t want to smell the same as the person/people who are often around me, I find that kind of silly!)
And now I am writing my fingers sore here and this fruit cocktail is no longer available... what a shame..... I have now ordered some other fruity scents.... let's see if any of them can come close to my summer scent from back then..... that would be great!

By the way: All other seasonal Escada summer scents, in my opinion, did not come close to Tropical Punch...
