Strawberry on the rocks please!

Perfumes hold quite big surprise effects. I mean, to find a fragrance quite great and the next day or the next overcomes me often a really big aversion to the initially beloved crush. I've been getting a little lost in overly niche scents lately, ordering samples that sounded incredibly enticing. Unfortunately, I can't do anything at all with the sinfully expensive scents. Not with any of them. Am I too mainstream for that? Not enough of a connoisseur? These partly penetrating fragrances have even taken away my joy in fragrances for a short time. But only for a short time.

Fortunately, I still had some samples of Escada Summer Festival. I liked the fragrance from the beginning really well, but then thought that this fragrance would certainly not fit into my Beuteschema. Fresh-fruity somehow does not fit so to me. But badly mistaken. I feel this fragrance is not particularly fresh, but very sweet, fruity and powdery. I can not perceive cherries. Much better namely very ripe and beautiful strawberries, sun-ripened, sugared and put on ice. And the crimson pink. So smells a warm, sunny summer day!

So what I learned in the process. Give a scent multiple chances. It's like with people. Sometimes a love story with a happy ending develops over time

Cherry sorbet at Lake Constance

Let's not kid ourselves: this year, too, the summer vacation will rather take place on the balcony than at the Tomorrowland Festival.
I still like to get the smell of vacation in the house.

Summer Festival opens with a cool, lacy cherry note. This seems rather synthetic and is more reminiscent of a cherry sorbet than a cherry blossom fresh from the tree Then a sweet floral note pushes itself into the foreground and the jasmine komnt great through.
The sandalwood, however, can hide well.

When spraying on this fragrance I get a desire to eat ice cream at the lake, on sun and warm days.
Overall, again a pretty solid summer fragrance from Escada.
Who liked the previous summer fragrances of Escada, will probably also warm up with this one

The advantage in spring/summer is that you no longer violate the ban on mummery, because you can leave your mummery at home - and because summer editions are coming out from some companies.

When these hit the shelves, you know winter is over.

And Escada is very punctual in that regard.

Gratefully, I buy a summer bottle - because traditions should be kept.
And this time it's the Summer Festival.

Memories of the famous " Bochum Total " are awakened - a music festival at the whole Bochum - no, the whole Ruhrpott on the legs is to bathe in music and the crowd.

Music is mine - crowds, however, are not.

But since I lived in the middle of Bo City, I just sat down in the hallway, which was open like a balcony.
Along with it was my little table with a carafe of fresh cherry juice with ice cubes floating in it.
The glass had a sugar rim - and sweet fruity cooled me down.
Jasmine scent was in the air - interwoven with the sounds of Revolverheld - at a pleasant volume.
My eyes fell on the magnificent linden tree that shaded the backyard and exhaled woodiness.

I was to myself - yet still there.
My festival took place in the hallway - and it was beautiful.

Cherry in the Air almost reappeared, was chased through the freezer and took a little bath in the sandalwood.

Who misses the fragrance Cherry in the Air by Escada will probably love this fragrance.
First impression Cherry in the Air ;o))

And then it becomes a little quieter possibly by the ice accord?
It is as if you get a bag of frozen cherries or cherry ice cream from the freezer, or open it. The fragrance is no longer quite so sweet and thus possibly a little calmer?

It becomes nicely powdery, but also the cheesy cherries remain very perceptible until the end. I like him, even if it is a really artificial cherry ;o)
Has somehow what soothing towards the end, if you keep the scent so long on the skin, probably by the light sandalwood scent I really only very slightly perceive because the artificial cherry is too powerful.

Sweet it is then also still, but not quite as intense as it was at the beginning. For me as a lover of sweet fragrances anyway. Most will probably still classify him as much too sweet. The Typical Escada DNA is present in any case and is probably only what for lovers of this brand.

The durability on the skin is with me at well over 8 hours, on clothes then probably even longer.
