Great opening + dissapointing dry down = average fragrance
Remarkable People by Etat Libre d’Orange is a fragrance with a great opening and average dry-down. It is a versatile and fun creation that excels in certain parts rather than delivering a full high-quality experience. Inspired by people who have made a significant impact on the world, this fragrance is worth sampling at least.

TOP NOTES
The fragrance opens up with a blend of bubbly grapefruit and cold cardamom that mixes so well that you might want to take a bite out of the spot where you sprayed the fragrance.

I’m not sure how the perfumer accomplished this, given that the grapefruit smells like candy and is nowhere near the quality we’ve seen in other releases, such as Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever or Hermes Terre d’Hermes Eau Givree. However, the opening of this fragrance smells better than both of the previously mentioned scents.

HEART NOTES
Unfortunately, the potential to create something new, vibrant and next-level begins to fade away as the middle notes start to emerge. I can’t express how much I love the first ten minutes of this fragrance and how fantastic it smells. For that experience alone, this scent is worth sampling and even owning if you want something casual and different from what everyone else might wear. The fragrance remains super versatile and uplifting as we’re introduced to the spicy heart with black pepper accord and mildly floral jasmine that makes the scent wearable for both women and men.

BASE NOTES
The dry-down should have been better. The labdanum and lorenox should have produced an amber/leathery experience which is non-existent here. When the fragrance finally settles down to its final stage, what we are left with are traces of the citrusy opening, spicy heart, and javanol that mimics real sandalwood.

OVERALL
This fragrance is a pure example of why I don’t like fragrance hype in any form. For me, ELDO is a hit-or-miss house that usually delivers good stuff but never a masterpiece. I love how the grapefruit blends with the spicy cardamom and the fantasy champagne accord, producing a scent that is almost bubbly.

However, I am not sure why the fragrance in the dry-down feels so basic and unfinished, with only generic javanol molecule and little else.

Lemon and champagne sorbet
There is a desert that can be made with lemon sorbet and champagne. This smells like this, Frizzy! And with a hint of spices that itch on the nose. black pepper mostly. The cardamom... I don't detect it that much.
It's very tasty, delicious and it's such a shame that doesn't last that much.
At max you get 4 hours... but what 4 hours.... This is one of those fragrances that make you happy
I'd love that it lasted 6 hours...

Based on first impressions and without looking at the notes, it smells sepia-toned, lightly sweet, and fizzy. Almost like an off-brand cola. After reviewing on Fragrantica, it's clear that it's the spice notes like cardamom paired with the grapefruit champagne. Like others have shared, the top notes are my favorite part. It doesn't go bad on me, but it does pivot to a savory, curry-like aroma while still retaining that initial sweetness. It almost reminds me of Japanese curry in that way, sweeter and not as heavy as Indian curry.

I know it sounds a bit unappealing: off-brand cola to sweetened curry, but I do think it's enjoyable enough. It's just not really for me, so I won't be continuing to test it.

PS. It shares none of the same notes, but I think Jo Malone's Myrrh & Tonka is in the same realm, though far more appealing.

Shower Champagne
Imagine yourself showering, washing yourself with that shampoo that has this synthetic scent and smooth lingering feeling on your body, and then you pour champagne all over yourself.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about this. The champagne note unfortunately doesn't last as long as id like it to, the opening is just amazing. Juicy, bubbly grapefruit & champagne. After that however it fades away into this shampoo-ey synthetic, sweet, cleanliness. It's not bad, but compared to the opening it's a letdown.
An easygoing everyday-everywhere scent that won't offend anyone, very versatile & unisex. (dont let the curry note scare you away)

For second characters
Usually when I watch a film, read a book (I don't know if it's a peculiarity of mine), I usually stop and remain fascinated not so much by the main characters, but by the secondary ones, who in my opinion, despite their marginality, by not existing would take away a meaning to the wonderful stories told.
Now let's imagine them all in a club, drinking champagne and cocktails with sugar-coated grapefruit.
This for me is Remarkable People: a fragrance with sweet grapefruit, accompanied lightly by champagne, which relaxes on jasmine and spices.
A versatile fragrance, suitable for any occasion, apparently simple but actually elaborate.
Always fit and distinctive. Really nice.

The notes make it sound a lot more interest than it is. On me it's fruity sweet, slightly spicy and ambrox dry down. Nothing remarkable.

I get the curry note right away, and it throws everything off. It's somewhat fascinating, but would definitely pass.

The opening is almost magical. Such an alluring sparkling floral opening. Champagne and lemon sorbet in a wild flower field. 100% unisex

Fresh, a bit of citrus fruit, a bit of vanilla, a bit floral. Very nice blue frag. But why can’t anyone smell it and why doesn’t it last?

Fizzy, juicy and sweet. It's between a Fanta Orange and a Champagne. Grapefruit, Cardamom, black pepper and a woody-amber drydown

Initially grapefruity and fizzy - yes, like champagne; after that goes away, you're left with this slightly lonely, dark, resinous sweetness
