Sex & The Sea Neroli without the Coconut?

Sticky Fingers and Sext & The Sea Neroli are the only two other fragrances from this House that I would wear. The other five are simply unbearable.

Comparison with S&THSN may not be the best due to the difference in notes, but it still reminds me of a particular phase of that scent where it turns delicious after coconut lets other smells develop.

Bergamot is not super strong at the opening. it opens as dense as a scent coming from a wax bar. After things calm down, the Neroli is there with the benzoin giving a background. The animalic is pleasant, and you will not feel like wearing body parts odors. The Iris is tamed and will not make you smell like gramma makeup. It recedes after a while and leaves the labdanum to play with the Neroli, a bit leather, and other notes.

This is The Fragrance from this House that finally entered my collection. Along with S&TSN and SF (as a third podium place, maybe). This is a sophisticated, versatile scent.

Scent: 8
Longevity: I got around 4 hours where you can notice it by just approaching. After that, it retreats to a small aura of a pleasant scent.
Sillage: I found it very limited and will not flood the room. Which is good for many occasions.
Occasions: Dinner, night out, Leisure. At the office, only if you control your sprays. Signature... I don't think so, but it still has its place.

Irrepressible Chypre

I have had a difficult time with the house of Bianchi in the past. As a big iris lover, I was excited to try several of these perfumes, but they were all disappointments. They strip the iris of all its dry-earthy, icy sparkles, until only a dense creaminess remains. Combined with resins devoid of any luminosity the effect can be suffocating. So I was not particularly optimistic when I ordered yet another Bianchi sample at someone's recommendation. But I was immediately taken by this unbridled, outspoken chypre. The neroli is crisp, at times soapy, completely un-sweet, and pushed into particularly sharp territory by the petitgrain. These notes have enough lift that the backdrop of that very dense orris actually works. But the star of the show here is the oakmoss. It is dark, it is smoky, it is mushroomy, it has all its perplexing, forest-floor charm. And it is tenacious beyond belief - your skin will smell of it for 24+ hours. I agree with the comparison to L'Air de Rien, but only in the dry down. While the citric notes are around, Libertine Neroli is far more airy and less dirty than the infamous Miller Harris. So for anyone not yet sold on the brand, this lovely perfume is worth a sniff nevertheless.

incredible deep green scent

beautiful green opening full of orange, spice, citrus, damp leaves, moss, and what feels like pine. smells like an orange grove in a gentle yet sunny rain, surrounded by an an old stone wall, mossy crumbling. sunlight shines through a thick tree canopy and warms the ground. its elegant, its light, and uplifting, and evolves in to a mellow yet gorgeous spicy woody floral citrus.

Creamy bitterish Neroli

Having read and watched all the reviews, this was not what I had expected. As I’ve grown to admire Bianchi’s heady scents, this one definitely took me by surprise.
Chypre scents, especially the citrusy ones, grew on me recently so I was lurred by the notes as well as the brand’s DNA.
Hence, I did not gather to be immersed in the regal and creamy/powdery nerolissimo.
The composition is unbelievably comforting and rich. This one lacks bitter orris root element usually paired with dark leather fumes. I get bits of zesty orange, soft labdanum. But the oakmoss is the ruler. Rather dry, ambient. I dare to say it is one of the safest flankers in Bianchi portfolio.
I wish the acidic orange was more prominent, yet I find the perfume worth having.
When to wear? Whenever You feel like having a mood booster. It is calming and secure. Classic, devoided of any foul bits.

Interesting and modern

I've written this before elsewhere but am choosing to add here.
Nice scent after about 60-90 minutes. At first all I got was spicey, peppery smoke, like a bonfire or forest fire. The top notes were completely drowned out by smoke, which was disappointing as I was really looking forward to the bergamot and neroli. But it's beautiful by 90 minutes in, more balanced and the neroli is centered. The other notes are not easily distinguishable to me, making for an even, consistent scent.

To me it reads as a perfectly unisex fragrance best for late afternoon/ evening in the late summer and fall. I can see wearing this seated at an outside table of a nice restaurant, watching the sunset having beautiful food and delicious drinks with a lovely partner. It smells rich and heavier than I expected, but not too dated. It's reminds me of an updated, modern version of the heavy strong fragrances popular in the early 90's, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's bold but not obnoxious. Confident but not arrogant. I really like it once it has a chance to mellow on my skin, but will wait till autumn to pull out again.
